We have used A-Z Plumbing twice. Each time they went above and beyond to complete the job even though it took considerably longer than anticipated at no additional charge. In our most recent encounter, Chase, provided timely outstanding and affordable service.

I called at 10 a.m. on a Friday. They were able to get a plumber to me by 1 p.m. It was a simple kitchen faucet leak, and the plumber thought it needed a new cartridge.

The faucet has no branding or markings but is a very standard design. He proceeded to take numbers off of the supply lines and try to identify the faucet with no luck. I do know that if you think the cartridge is bad, you pull it, match it to a replacement, and then, you know, replace it. He said that because he couldn't identify the brand, he couldn't replace the cartridge and recommended a $715.00 replacement.

If you don't want to do the work because it's a Friday, just say so and don't waste people's time.

They reused to give a standard rate on the phone. Came to my house for a job that required 30 minutes of work and one $2 ring. Charged me $665 for the job. This means their rate is $1200 an hour?? I was sick with covid and a senior citizen. The service Teck took advantage of me in my condition. This company did not return any of my calls after this. This is A to Z how to scam older people!!

This is the quality of A-Z Plumbing. They put a hole in our wall and didn't even tell us. The toilet wasn't even put back correctly. These are some photos of the work that only cost us $2,500 dollars!

PRICE GOUGING!!! the Tuesday before Thanksgiving i had a flood emergency were my bath sink overflowed from my condo neighbors bath sink. A-z came out and charged $359 to snake a 2' drain...$359!!!! He said that was their standard price(I've had snaking done before!)OUTRAGEOUS! We were stuck! He also had to go through my neighbors connected sink and in the process didn't tighten those pipes. She had a flood the next day(simple mistake..i get it). Her landlord called them back and they were fighting her claiming it was on her end... she fought it and they came out at no charge.. just another hassle! Oh... and the girl answering the phone was acting like you were putting her out... miserable!!! Oh and I've never written a review before but was never so stunned by this price gauge! Criminal!!... you were warned (nov 2023).. btw they wouldn't give me that standard price over the phone

I LOVE being able to leave GOOD reviews.

My second floor apartment toilet backed up hella gnarly & I couldn't resolve it on my own-- even with the minutes of plumbing experience I have. I only have one toilet so it became an emergency of sorts (you know the sort).

I called A-Z, was answered immediately by a service who provided a quick turnaround window which was more than acceptable before reaching out to plumbers in the area who could help. She landed on Caleb who arrived probably 1.5 hrs after I originally called (and by the earliest time provided in the original estimate). Caleb assessed the problem as best he could by looking at a drain filled with water and drano and proceeded to break out lug an industrial power auger and got the clog to drain within a few minutes.

He could have said ""DONE!"", collected his payment and left but he said he wanted to see why it was difficult to get through the pipe and decided to take the extra step of going back down to the truck and bringing up a camera probe almost as large as the auger and then found the main issue and showed me on the camera monitor that there is a large calcium type buildup in the old iron pipe that will need to be resolved at some point.

Now my drain is clear and I know what I will need to do to resolve the larger problem in the near future.

Caleb was friendly, professional, VERY knowledgeable and went the extra mile to diagnose a problem larger than the immediate one.

I have not used this service before but I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to them again and hope all their plumbers display the same level of professionalism as Caleb.

DO NOT recommend A-Z as they are quoting $628 to install a $125 unit, which they broke last week when they charged me $185 for 10 minutes, of which they were 2 hours late (so I was waiting for 5 hours) and today they kept calling while I was somewhere I shouldn't be taking calls and I specifically told them when scheduling that I was not available until 9am. They wanted to come an hour before the set time, then told me I would have to be home at EXACTLY 9am and they still didn't show up until 9:45. And they have the audacity to tell me that $628 is DISCOUNTED because they were out here last week and that nothing was noted in the appointment that I was not available before 9am. They did call back to try to lower it to $450, which would still be $325 to install something they broke!

A-Z has been there for us since we purchased our century home last summer. Anytime we called they have sent an appropriate plumber to troubleshoot the problem we described. I highly recommend this company.
