If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the WORST company! Not only do they overprice but they don't know how to fix things. They replaced our hot water heater back in January and now it's broken. Since it's under warranty we had someone come down but were last on the list. This person didn't know what they were doing and kept calling people for advice. They claimed they fixed the problem but there is still NO HOT WATER!!! We called PSE&G today and learned the thermostat is broken. SO the person who came couldn't figure out it was the thermostat???!!!!!! We spent $3,600 on this water heater when it's costs under $2,000 in local stores. NOT only that but it broke in under a year and as far as Weltman is concerned it's a waste of time. AS for 24 hour service, they have someone who answers the phone but they don't come to your house until business hours. Now we will be without hot water for I don't know how long until we can find a reliable, smart person to fix it.

NEVER use these guys. I had no hot water and they told me there's a $49 fee to send someone over. But after they came he quoted me almost $5000 in repairs to get hot water going and another $2000 recommended replacement to replace a noisy CO blower fan. I knew that sounded fishy and called someone else for a second opinion. It turned out to be a leaking expansion tank that only cost $70!!!! My entire repair was $275 instead of the $5000+ Weltman quoted me! They also charged me $200 for this guy to come over to give me this rip off quote! I wish Yelp has a 0 star rating!

Weltman had been doing periodic maintenance on our furnace. We called them for a problem with our air conditioner. They wanted $1500 to check for a leak in the system. They said that it would be better if we replaced the system for $5000 because it was too old and would probably fail in the near future.

Another contractor came and put refrigerant in our system. He said we had a small leak that we could deal with in the spring. $200 later our problem was solved on one of the hottest days of the summer.

Basically I had a broken pipe and no running water. They were pretty fast with sending someone out to have a look-I trust we won't be charged for that, he didn't do a thing-all the guy said was that we needed a building contractor to come in and take down the wall before Weltman could fix anything.

Granted a weekend before a major holiday is a bad time to have a broken pipe. But we hadn't had water for two days as it was. We found someone else who used an exacto knife on the shower stall wall and had a new part installed in under two hours.

Obviously it wasn't that big a job and it could have taken several more days for Weltman to get back to us. I wouldn't call them again.
