Our townhouse had an issue with the diverter valve in the shower. Luckily, the day I called, Steve was able to go to the house, diagnose the issue, go & get the needed parts and do the repair...all in the same day! He is professional, honest and prompt. We will be using him for other repairs needed at our house and townhouse. Also, another fellow plumber recommended him! Thanks, Steve!

Steve is a good ole' fashion honest service provider.

He showed up at a moments notice and was completely willing to listen to my long sob story about how I had paid another plumber to fix the problem we were having with our sewer and how it was still completely blocked up. He offered some theories about what the problem might be one of which was that the large tree in our front yard was blocking the sewer with roots and went to work.

He patiently spent about an hour running the snake in our sewer line and eventually pulled out a bundle of roots about 5 feet long and the same diameter of our sewer line. The sewer line is flowing smoothly now and Steve even called to check on us a week later.

He did such a good job and is so honest and knowledgeable that we plan to have him back to do some other plumbing work that we have been putting off.

If you have had a bad experience with a plumber and are looking for someone upfront a honest give Steve a call. You won't be disappointed.

Kitchen sink back up on Mothers Day Morning. We were having people over that night
for dinner. Not Good! I went to yelp and found A&W. Every review was 5 stars ( I found out why) Called Steve and 8:30 AM. He was at our house within an hour.
He was able to diagnose the problem. Clogged pipe which he snaked out. He also noticed an problem with the slope of our pipe which caused the clog.
The price was very fair, and the work was great. I have scheduled him to do additional (non-emergency) work .

I will never call another plumber.

Great service! We wanted to run a new LP gas line so we can switch over to a gas range. Since we live in the hills off of Hwy 17, we anticipated the usual runaround we get from contractors. I Yelped ""plumber"" and saw the great reviews for A&W. Steve came out that same day, checked out the logistics, gave us a quote, and a date. He knows our neighborhood, knows how funky the houses can be. Two days later, he came out, ready to go, conquered the usual funky house challenges, and done! So glad we found A&W. Now we have a skilled plumber we can trust. Life is good!

We had problem with kitchen sink for a few days, and we tried whatever we could and still were able to fix it. Then we called A&W plumbing. It was Sunday night around 6 pm. Steve came in on time and helped fixing the problem. He is very knowledgeable and responsible. He has his unique way to test whether the drain is completely cleared or not. After Steve put in some solid work, we finally got the sink working again. The price was reasonable too.

My husband called A&W after another plumbing company's idea of arriving in ""15 minutes"" lasted 2 hours. We were in a bind. After three days of no drainage due to clogged pipes (preschooler found a stash of wet wipes) we were tired of using the neighbors house 24/7 for our personal needs and had no confidence that plumbers could fix this issue. A&W arrived at our house expediently and talked to us about what they were going to do and gave us an estimate. Everything was efficient. Within 3 hours we had working pipes and could take a shower and flush the toilet. The price was fair and the plumbers were friendly and knowledgable. Sunday morning, I see the ceiling of my living room leaking, I called Steve, he said he's doing a job until 2 and he'll come take a look after that and no primary inspection fees :) He gave me a call to say he was going to be late too, which was very good and uncommon as far as I've seen.
He showed up, took a look at it and told us that we can do it ourselves, explained what to get form Home Depot and that it would cost us much less that if he wanted to do it. I truly appreciate his honestly and sharing his expertise. I will definitely call him again especially when I have a serious case that I need a plumber to handle.
