The company was one of the first to confirm that they incorporate the assessment fee into your bill, if you use their plumber. That lured me in. My Henry County water bill had risen, indicating a leak somewhere and I needed resolve quickly. My appointment was set early for the next day. I like that a pic of your tech and an eta for their arrival is sent via text message. My plumber, Nick, hands down, knows what he's doing. He was very pleasant and entered my home with shoe guards. I didn't have to ask my own questions, once he knew we needed to investigate the unusually high water consumption, he explained each step of the process and found the problem. I wish there were two separate ratings for employee then company. Nick would get 5 for his friendliness and workmanship. A Total company would get 2 for high prices. Two toilets that needed the tank valves replaced, no bolts, no new toilets, cost $500! Once again the only reason this 30 min fix was worth it was because of Nick. Above average charges! I noticed that, on purpose, other parts of a small problem are tagged in as a package so you have to buy a """"set"""" instead of what could be individually fixed pieces.

A-TOTAL RIPOFF!! WARNING: This company is dishonest and will gouge you! I called multiple plumbers because I needed to repair a backup in a rental house and selected this company because they said they would be there faster than the others, and then they showed up late and ripped me off. The job was a standard backup in the main requiring a snake with easy access to the pipe. Doing a search online, the job costs an average of $228 to get a drain snaked professionally. That price can land anywhere between $145 and $334 depending on the simplicity or severity of the issue. This company charged me $475 for this job. $475!!!! No trip charge credited back, no fair and honest price for a simple job. They tried this sort of good, better, best type of pricing and this was their """"just get it done price"""". They initially quoted me over $1100 with a bunch of stuff I did not need and then a second quote at around $800 including running a camera, which was also not needed. They ripped me off and they will rip you off too!

they were on time, but after I had commented they were way over priced for what they did for me.The job was done but in my opinion they were over priced for what they did. If I had to do it all over again I would have called around..

Beware...I had a PRV installed and they charged me double the price and used a poorer quality part. I would not recommend this company for your plumbing needs. Please obtain several quotes before booking. Also, they charge a service fee that tech wants up front. Wow! Totally disappointed with this company.

A-Total was a great company, and an experience like no other. Gene came out gave many options for the repair of my water heater and didnt push unnecessary replacements on my three year old tank. Can't believe the experience of professional standards they carried to be so high. Thanks A-Total for the quick response and options.

Gene was the plumber that came out and did an awesome job! He was very prompt and polite. Very knowledgeable and to the point. I got a diagnosis and set up an appointment to have it corrected in just a few days! I couldn't believe how smooth everything went. I will definitely use A -Total Plumbing again for any needs in the future!

[Service, Price, Timeliness, Technician] All too often we hear negative comments about a company but in this case from the dispatcher who kept me informed through out the entire process and the Tech who knows his business, and did it well, to being prompt and guided me through the process as well. Thank you so much for crossing paths a very nice exprience.

A-Total Plumbing in connection with American Home Shield warranty did a sham of a job. Nothing was fixed sufficiently other than getting a substance out of my garbage disposal. 3 other things not repaired. Plumber made every excuse in the book not to make the needed repairs and then blamed it on the warranty company. Any other reputable plumber would have been able to fix the fixable issues. Because a screw holding the hot water handle/stem in place was stripped, they told the warranty company that it was from abnormal wear and tear and that they couldn't replace a leaking sprayer hose because of the stripped screw in the hot water cartridge. What a copout. I have the user manual for the faucet and the sprayer hose doesn't require removing the entire faucet. The repair person also said the stem had a broken part, but how could he tell there was a broken part if he wouldn't even remove the screw that was holding it in place?? So instead of just getting me a new sprayer hose, he tells the warranty company that the entire faucet needs replacing but that they are not required to replace anything because of the stripped screw holding the hot water handle in place. This repair person was useless and cost me $75 but basically nothing was repaired. VERY UNSATISFIED WITH THE OUTCOME. And now I have to spend more money and call a REPUTABLE plumber to actually do the repair.
