A to Z Prestigious Contracting
Company Overview
Plumbing, painting, restoration
My team is highly skilled and professional. After facing multiple challenges in my own residence with slab leaks, faulty water heaters, and unreliable handymen, I chose to launch this venture. I strive to be honest and assistive to my customers, ensuring that services are performed right the first time without inflated prices.
It seems like water has it out for me! Within three months, I faced the challenge of two slab leaks and two malfunctioning water heaters. I repeatedly hired the same plumber and finally recognized his expertise. This prompted me to take out a small business loan and launch my own enterprise I found out that this guy is capable of doing almost everything. We recently hired our second plumber/handyman. My objective, of course, is outstanding customer service.

Absolutely wonderful company! John kept me up to date on everything. Even though my warranty didn't cover everything the company was prompt, knowledgeable and professional.

If I could give (- )stars I would. No customer service ethics AT ALL. Owner is lacking in the business skills department. Service is terrible. Way overpriced and they try to sell you parts you don't know.

If I could give ZERO stars to this company I would. Im embarrassed to even click one star. This company was contracted through our home warranty and the technician who came out was absolutely terrible. We were WELL aware of our home warranty, what is covered, what is not, etc. So, when he told us he could not address our plumbing issue and still charged us a $75 service fee, we were beyond upset. We called another plumbing company right after he left and paid more money out of pocket and that plumber of the new company was amazing and fixed our issue same day- and laughed at the fact that the plumber from A to Z couldn't preform the simple fix we needed. I disputed our $75 service fee because of how UNHAPPY we were with this service and we got a phone call from this company threatening to place a lean on our home if we do not get rid of the dispute. This company is TERRIBLE. Keep our $75 fee. You clearly are hard up for income for your awful employees. Do NOT contact this company for services!!!!

If I could give this company negative stars I would. We had them come out for a blockage on the old side of our house. They were our third plumber to come out. All the other plumbers realized that the two sides of the house did not connect and therefore scoped and snaked from the clean out valves from the toilet and sink inside the home. These fools snaked from the clean out valve on the new side of the house and pushed so hard he rammed through our master toilet and broke it. That side of the house wasn't even the problem!!! Needless to say he spent the whole time replacing our toilet and never even went to the old side of the house where the problem was. Then he reported to our warranty that our pipes were 'messed' up and therefore he caused us to be denied on any other warranty claim. This is despite the fact he never even went to the correct side of the house! Luckily our next plumber came to the rescue and figured out the problem. In summary, this company broke a perfectly good toilet because they clearly had no clue what they were doing. If your home warranty assigns them to you I would kindly ask for someone else. Ridiculous.

If I could give negative 10 stars I would! Contractor from my American Home Shield Warranty. Bathroom sink faucet is over 10 years old, had some type of black flaky mold type stuff coming out and I was unable to get the part off to clean/change the screen. Even tried a wrench.
This guy arrives, stands there looking at it asks if it shooting water up. When I answer No, he already says, ""they (AHS) aren't going to cover it. This is without examining it, hearing what is wrong. When I tell him, he suggests it is from my water heater and I say no, because this is the only sink that is doing this. He tries with a wrench and even he cannot get that part off! Runs his hands under the water for 5 minutes and says they won't cover this but I will call them. ""I need to collect the $100 fee before I do"" I told him I Don't Think So, if there's no repair I am not paying. 15 minutes later I get a call from AHS saying it isn't covered because this guy told them it wasn't covered. Seems like some kind of scam to me.

A-Z Prestigious Plumbing was sent out to replace a gas water heater in a ventilated outdoor closet. The plumber insisted that we needed to bring the area up to code - code for an indoor water heater. The additional cost would have been $1063 ($250 18"" pedal stool, $195 drip pan & drain, $120 T&P Relief Valve,$125 Ball Valve, $160 Plume Mod, $90 Gas Drip Line,$68 Supply Lines, $55 Disposal). The excess charges that A-Z Prestigious Plumbing quoted were more than the total bids we received from two other licensed plumbing contractors in the area. It appears that A-Z Prestigious Plumbing uses warranty work to defraud naive customers. I have no qualms with paying to bringing something up to code when it is needed, but this had nothing to do with code; it was pure dishonesty.

My hot water went out. My husband called another company who said I would need a whole new water heater (other company quoted me $1000). To get a second opinion, I called this A to Z plumbing as my pilot light was not working, it seemed crazy I would need to replace the whole unit. The office fit me in on the same day, later in the afternoon with a 2 hour window. Then called to let me know there was a sooner time slot available. The tech called me to let me know he would be there in 45 minutes - he was on time. When he came to my house, he fixed the problem quickly, stayed a longer to double check that was the only issue. I would recommend this company again! Honest, efficient and professional.

I feel sorry for anyone who ever has to deal with these guys. Derrick, the owner as mentioned in another review, is a complete ***! I called to inquire as to the whereabouts of the contractor. He gave some lame excuse as to meetings and getting gas. I reminded him that he gave us a particular window and that we were supposed to be the first on the list that morning so it did not make sense. He proceeds to say: ""Sweetheart, I'm trying to run a business..."" I said, if you are trying to run a professional business then you should refrain from calling your customers ""sweetheart"" Instead of taking the critique, he hung up on me and threatened to cancel the appointment.
Oh, and in addition to that, this is the 2nd time they have been out here for the same occurrence. They didn't do it right the first time.

Well well well! I would stay away from this company! I could YouTube repairs and more than likely fix more than this individual. I own a property in El Mirage and there is a pretty big leak issue going on. This low rate ^*^&%^ that I would not even call a company was sent out by my home warranty as the other two reviewers stated. The technician that phoned me was John. He called me telling me that there is a leak in my master bath vanity area and the vanity needed to be pulled and the wall opened because his little moisture tool told him that is where the water is. John, now really? Be thankful I am currently out of state as I would have ripped you from one end of your smart mouth to the other end embarrassing you with the ignorant incompetence you displayed. When he told me of his mindless so called assessment I told him very clearly that I am out of state and that my ex-husband is handling the situation for me. I ask to give him Shawn's number and would he call him and explain his ""expert"" analysis since Shawn is local and has had a visual of the damage especially of my less than 6 months old wood floor that is warped and buckled. John told me to have Shawn call him. OK no problem and I called my ex-husband immediately. Shawn tried for three days to get this individual on the phone and not once was his call returned. I called on the 5th day and John answered his phone. I had to go through a few things to even get him to recall who I was. Poor guy gets 5 to 6 calls a day. Shawn went to the house and pulled the vanity and opened the wall and was ...... where is this leak? John told me on the phone that he told me I was to call his office to schedule him to come back. Ummmm no John, that did not take place at all. Why on earth would you tell me to call the office to schedule when I had asked you to speak to Shawn and explain the ""expert"" analysis to him? John, we shouldn't make up stories and I'll take a risk and walk that limb assuming that he probably still didn't recall who I was. So now I have a vanity ripped out and a wall open and this person had no idea what he was talking about. John gave me an incorrect office number, one digit off so when I called him back that the phone does not connect....he kept telling me to leave a msg. By the fourth time telling him there is no way to leave a msg I was screaming. Oh my let's not holler at poor John. He hangs up and then shortly calls me back and leaves a msg stating that he called his office and they have not received a call from me. How many times am I to repeat.....? There was no voicemail to leave a darn msg on! Then his boss.... yes good 'ol Derrick called me. I was mad! I started the conversation by saying I am mad, very MAD. Derrick apparently doesn't hear well either is the impression I got. Derrick's feelings got hurt and he hung up and guess what? Amazingly my ex-husband, Shawn receives a phone call. Well now how did they all of a sudden have his phone number? Mysterious I know. Derrick calls Shawn to tell on me as if I am in second grade. Shawn listened and agreed yes, that's her....she's mad. Mind you when John originally went to my property ""with people living in the home"".... not one fan, NOTHING to deal with the moisture and water therefore I guess woohoo on the wood floor being so wet, resulting in further flooring damage. Derrick might want to consider having a come to Jesus with himself and his arrogant attitude that he does not KNOW who is on the other end of the phone line because I will follow through. Call Shawn and verify that too. My homeowner's ins. adjuster arrived this morning, 12.16.2016. He called Shawn right away and said to get rid of whoever this company is and they are bringing in the professionals. Guess what???? They have actual equipment to deal with water and moisture issues. The leak was found and is being handled by real workers. They were in constant communication with me and more so with Shawn when I let them know he is handling the issue as my representative. Shawn was able to tell them how he wanted an item routed and so forth and they worked together great today. My insurance company (well-known name company) is very aware of what John did not do and the damage he let continue. Therefore, we are going to get to know each other a tad bit more. I too have had my warranty company for right at 7 years now..... Never have I had such displeasure dealing with the likes of A to Z incompetence.

This company deserves a 0 out of 5 stars!!!
My home warranty company hired this company to come out and diagnose a problem with my water heater. Derrick, the technician who came out for the service call and stated that he is the owner of the company, was the most rude and unprofessional technician that I have ever dealt with. The first thing that he told me is that my water heater is not covered under my home warranty policy. I have read the contract to know what is covered and what is not. Within one minute of looking at my water heater, he said that there is nothing wrong with my water heater and that the size of my heater is not large enough for my property and I need a 75 gallon tank. When I asked him some follow-up questions, he kept on saying that there is nothing wrong and that he was not called out to check if hot water is coming out of my faucets or my showers; he was just called to look at the hot water heater itself. When I asked him to take a gauge of the temperature of the water because I do not believe that it is hot enough and it is set at a very high temperature, he refused. He insulted me and said that I was not listening to him and that he had been doing this for 18 years and that I should stop asking him questions. I said that I have the right to ask questions, I am paying you to be here, and he stormed off my property.
