A to Z knows exactly what they are doing. Heating and Plumbing is not always easy. They will charge you a real fee. Not something out of line. Their job is never easy. They climb into basements, crawlspaces and sewers. All of the employees are competent and know their stuff. It more than irritates me when people do not get it. They have always got it.

A to Z came to my family's cabin in Iron River, WI to fix various plumbing problems we were having. First, I called them Wednesday and they made themselves available Friday. Tony (owner) performed the work. Very professional and enjoyable person. After he left (and after thorough testing) the bathroom trap started leaking. I called him and he was back in Ashland (30 minutes away). I told him it could wait as it was late afternoon on a Friday. He said ""no, you hired me to do a job and it needs to be done right"". He drove an hour round trip back to make sure the job was complete. I am extraordinarily impressed with the service and commitment of this business and strongly recommend it to others in need of similar services. Thank you, A to Z. TJ Estabrook

On Feb, 5,2016, A to Z made a service call on our furnace in our home. They did not have the part to make the repair. The furnace was repaired that same day by another heating business that we had subsequently phoned to do the repair. On Feb. 10, 2016 we received a bill in the mail from A to Z in the amount of $211.00. We felt we were overcharged, so my husband placed a phone call to the business' owner in an attempt to compromise on an amount to settle the bill for the service call. The phone call did not resolve the issue. Therefore I sat down and wrote and posted what we felt was an honest review on Yelp. About a week later, on Feb.16, 2016, we received another bill from A to Z Plumbing & Htg. This time the bill was lowered to $ 160.00 which we felt was acceptable.
Therefore I would like to retract my negative review ( which has been removed from the site for quite some
time), and apologize for any inconvenience this matter may have caused anyone.

BEWARE !! They made a diagnosis of our furnace issue on Friday afternoon but couldn't get the part until the following week. They expected us to use space heaters until the part came in. The weather was below zero and we are senior citizens. We called another heating contractor who fixed the furnace in a matter of minutes. A to Z sent us a bill charging us 2.5 hours labor. It was $ 211. for 10 minutes worth of their time and they didn't fix the problem. So we will never use them again and recommend you don't either.
