Have used Weber for two pretty large jobs over the past year or so (new tankless water heater, total bathroom replumb), plus several smaller jobs like running a gas line to our oven. They are always reliable, communicative and do a fantastic job.
Our house was neglected for about 50 years before we bought it, so there were a few unpleasant surprises (e.g. Todd discovered our gas line was electrified because of a fault in our ancient furnace- unfortunately he discovered it by getting slightly electrocuted). Even so, the quotes they give are always accurate; I never end up paying a penny more.
They might be the cheapest around, they might not. I've never cared to find out to be honest. I just always use Weber, because I know they're going to do the job properly. So does everybody else I know in Alameda.

I work for a service company as a superintendent.
Today Weber Plumbing and Mechanical came in to jet out pipes in a corporate building, guys Mike and his friend were friendly and very cool, there was also a pump truck subcontracted to pump out all water out of the sump pump enclosure with their 3"" diameter hose.
Everything went well until Mike made a .25"" hole in the supply garden hose, they used this hose to complete the job after trying to repair it, the hose sprayed out around 300 gallons of water onto four floors of the garage, guys then left after completing the job, I asked them to clean out the water on the phone and they responded that they are on their way.
I let the pump truck go and I had a call from Mike and his partner in an hour telling me that their boss (Todd Weber) has asked them to turn around.
I later called Todd and he didn't seem that he wanted to correct the problem, rather he was trying to push the fault to the pump truck company.
I explained to Todd multiple times that the reason for flooding the garage floors was the broken garden hose that his guys used but Todd was looking past that and did not want to cooperate with me.
These guys left me with a complaint from building management and I believe that every customer should stay away from companies that do not take responsibility for their own faults and mistakes.
Thank you - Stay Away!

I used Weber in 2006 when I first bought our house and had to add a gas shutoff valve and had a very good experience with them, so imagine my surprise when I received such horrible service over the last week. I had a water main break last Friday morning, and they assured me they could come back and complete the job by the end of day. They sent a guy out to take some photos and he told me he would be back with a crew at noon. At 1:30 I called to find out where they were and was told there was some misunderstanding, that they couldn't actually come that day and that their next available day would be October 1 (keep in mind I had no running water). I told them it would have been nice to know that morning so I could have done something about it before the weekend. They called me back and told me they would send a crew on Saturday, which is the main reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. The estimate was to replace the entire water main from the street to the house under the assumption that it was old galvanized pipe. As they dug to find the line, they realized it was new copper pipe (it must have been replaced in the 1990s with our house renovation from the previous owner). We speculate that the cause of the break, which was right under the sidewalk in front of our house, was probably weakened when the city replaced the sidewalk, then the tree roots from the tree next to the sidewalk put pressure on the pipe and broke it. The 2 plumbers spliced and replaced a section of the pipe about one third the length it would have been to replace the whole pipe. I received a bill for the same amount of the estimate, even though they replaced a much smaller section of the pipe. I called and was first told that they decided to charge me the full amount because they had to come out on a Saturday. I reminded them the reason they came out on a Saturday was because they didn't show up on Friday as promised. The man I spoke with said that he would talk to the owner and get back to me but it didn't sound promising. He called back the next day and said that they actually were giving me a deal and should have charged me about $800 more than the estimate to replace the whole thing. Totally bogus and bad customer relations.

Many years ago when our close friend and plumber died, we asked his wife to whom to go now. With no hesitation she said, ""Weber."" We did and never left, now into the third generation. Mo-Fr only. Open about pricing. Furnace and water heater replacements are flat rate. Expert, fair, and honest--what more is there to say?

My family had a bad carbon monoxide scare one morning due to a poorly venting hot water heater. I called AT Weber and they shuffled things around to arrive about 6 hours later. Vince was the consummate professional as he systematically investigated our house with a CO detector to find the problem. He located the bad vent, figured out the problem, designed a better venting solution and booked another serviceman to come out the next morning. It took 2 hours of work to fix. 24 hours after my first call the problem was solved. I've had no further problems - and I've got CO detectors all over the house now just in case. I'd use these guys again any day.

Weber plumbing is the best. I used many plumbers over the years and couldn't recomend any of them until I tried Weber. They come over when they say they will, do what they said they would do and at the price they said they would. Who could ask for more. If you're looking for a reliable local plumbing contractor, call Weber, you'll be glad you did.

I needed a new furnace and got 2 estimates one was very fair and one was a clear rip off (this guy was a bit of a dick and I would not have used him anyhow). I called our HOA and the info they gave me about our rules and options led me to realize that the first guy did not know his job. The second did but was still a dick. He suggested I call A.T. Weber Plumbing & Mechanical as they have dome a lot of furnace replacements in our area. From here on everything was excellent, the price was excellent, the service was excellent and the installation was perfect. They had no problem with me supplying my own thermostat to lower my costs as they charge retail and I usually find great deals online.
A.T. Weber Plumbing & Mechanical..... & Furnace replacement 5 stars.

We just moved into our new (to us, but old bungalow) home and wanted to install a dishwasher. When the dishwasher arrived, the installers could not hook it up because there was no water line under the sink. We called AT Weber and Mike came out to set it up. We also decided to have him install our garbage disposal then too. However, he installed the disposal but did not do the water line! We called back and Todd saved the day- he got the work done just in time for the installers return to hook up the dishwasher. Needless to say, we were frustrated with Mike but Todd came to the rescue. My only beef is that they do not have a emergency line for after hours and they do not work weekends- all things we learned the hard way. I would recommend they have their hours posted on the website and on the voicemail. Thank you Todd for your professionalism:)

I'm the owner of an apartment building and, needless to say, we are often in need of a plumber. We've used AT Weber for years, in fact my dad used AT Weber for as long as I can remeber. Their are personable, dependable, honest and fairly-priced. I highly recommend them.

Fast, congenial, efficient, cleaned everything up afterward. What more could you ask for?
