I used Weber in 2006 when I first bought our house and had to add a gas shutoff valve and had a very good experience with them, so imagine my surprise when I received such horrible service over the last week. I had a water main break last Friday morning, and they assured me they could come back and complete the job by the end of day. They sent a guy out to take some photos and he told me he would be back with a crew at noon. At 1:30 I called to find out where they were and was told there was some misunderstanding, that they couldn't actually come that day and that their next available day would be October 1 (keep in mind I had no running water). I told them it would have been nice to know that morning so I could have done something about it before the weekend. They called me back and told me they would send a crew on Saturday, which is the main reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. The estimate was to replace the entire water main from the street to the house under the assumption that it was old galvanized pipe. As they dug to find the line, they realized it was new copper pipe (it must have been replaced in the 1990s with our house renovation from the previous owner). We speculate that the cause of the break, which was right under the sidewalk in front of our house, was probably weakened when the city replaced the sidewalk, then the tree roots from the tree next to the sidewalk put pressure on the pipe and broke it. The 2 plumbers spliced and replaced a section of the pipe about one third the length it would have been to replace the whole pipe. I received a bill for the same amount of the estimate, even though they replaced a much smaller section of the pipe. I called and was first told that they decided to charge me the full amount because they had to come out on a Saturday. I reminded them the reason they came out on a Saturday was because they didn't show up on Friday as promised. The man I spoke with said that he would talk to the owner and get back to me but it didn't sound promising. He called back the next day and said that they actually were giving me a deal and should have charged me about $800 more than the estimate to replace the whole thing. Totally bogus and bad customer relations.

Many years ago when our close friend and plumber died, we asked his wife to whom to go now. With no hesitation she said, ""Weber."" We did and never left, now into the third generation. Mo-Fr only. Open about pricing. Furnace and water heater replacements are flat rate. Expert, fair, and honest--what more is there to say?

My family had a bad carbon monoxide scare one morning due to a poorly venting hot water heater. I called AT Weber and they shuffled things around to arrive about 6 hours later. Vince was the consummate professional as he systematically investigated our house with a CO detector to find the problem. He located the bad vent, figured out the problem, designed a better venting solution and booked another serviceman to come out the next morning. It took 2 hours of work to fix. 24 hours after my first call the problem was solved. I've had no further problems - and I've got CO detectors all over the house now just in case. I'd use these guys again any day.

Weber plumbing is the best. I used many plumbers over the years and couldn't recomend any of them until I tried Weber. They come over when they say they will, do what they said they would do and at the price they said they would. Who could ask for more. If you're looking for a reliable local plumbing contractor, call Weber, you'll be glad you did.

I needed a new furnace and got 2 estimates one was very fair and one was a clear rip off (this guy was a bit of a dick and I would not have used him anyhow). I called our HOA and the info they gave me about our rules and options led me to realize that the first guy did not know his job. The second did but was still a dick. He suggested I call A.T. Weber Plumbing & Mechanical as they have dome a lot of furnace replacements in our area. From here on everything was excellent, the price was excellent, the service was excellent and the installation was perfect. They had no problem with me supplying my own thermostat to lower my costs as they charge retail and I usually find great deals online.

A.T. Weber Plumbing & Mechanical..... & Furnace replacement 5 stars.

We just moved into our new (to us, but old bungalow) home and wanted to install a dishwasher. When the dishwasher arrived, the installers could not hook it up because there was no water line under the sink. We called AT Weber and Mike came out to set it up. We also decided to have him install our garbage disposal then too. However, he installed the disposal but did not do the water line! We called back and Todd saved the day- he got the work done just in time for the installers return to hook up the dishwasher. Needless to say, we were frustrated with Mike but Todd came to the rescue. My only beef is that they do not have a emergency line for after hours and they do not work weekends- all things we learned the hard way. I would recommend they have their hours posted on the website and on the voicemail. Thank you Todd for your professionalism:)

I'm the owner of an apartment building and, needless to say, we are often in need of a plumber. We've used AT Weber for years, in fact my dad used AT Weber for as long as I can remeber. Their are personable, dependable, honest and fairly-priced. I highly recommend them.

Love these guys - they've done work on our house a few times now and are always knowledgeable, HONEST, efficient, friendly, and clean. Great sense of humor, too.

The one guy who wrote a negative review must have been thinking about Ollsen, who are happy to come out and cut apart your cast iron vent pipe and cobble together a replacement section, then offer to dig up your driveway to replace the sewer line that doesn't even run under the driveway, all for the low low bargain price of 10 grand. And you get to replace your own driveway on your dime!

Sorry... I digress... If you need a good, reliable, honest, fair, kickass plumber, call A.T. Weber. Do it.

These guys just screwed me over big-time! Please think twice about using them. When the chips are down, they will NOT do the right thing, customer-service-wise. I hired them to do a kitchen remodel, we agreed on a price ($1500) and the DAY BEFORE they were supposed to arrive, they called me and told me they don't do work in San Francisco (which is where I live). So...what? They couldn't have figured that out two weeks prior (which is when I first called them)? So of course, there's almost no time left for me to hire another plumber. And it wasn't even as cut-and-dried as this--in fact, they called me first to say ""no"" they couldn't do it, then they called me again to say ""good news! we'll do it!"" and just when I was starting to relax and think I still had a plumber, they hiked the price an extra $600! (It was, I think, their attempt to get me to call off the job.) The owner was rude, unapologetic on the phone. I don't know what their plumbing is like but their customer service is a zero.
