We had a leak in our kitchen which was being caused by our laundry room. I reached out to A&T and they sent someone out the same day. The guy they sent was Logan who was very professional from the second he arrived. He was quick, efficient, and accurate in his work and got our leak fixed. He was also very friendly, which is weird when it comes to repairmen that come over. Usually it feels odd to have someone over but Logan made it feel like he was just a buddy. Is that weird? Yes, but it was still a nice feeling. He was informative of everything that was happening. If I had to suggest something, is to have a drywall/repair referral ready to seal the holes after you are done with the repairs. I had to ask for a referral and the hole will be closed soon, but it's always nice to have those numbers on the ready. Let me know if you guys ever happen to look for apprentices because I am in the market to switch careers!

We have used A&T several times since moving to the area three years ago, and always are satisfied with both their responsiveness and the work done. Unfortunately, we have a house that's settled and the main sewer is back pitched, so regular rodding is just a fact of life.

Had my sewer line back up yesterday morning and I called a different company to come out and look at the problem. They were here within a couple hours. After attempting to rod a couple times the problem was still not fixed. I have 4 kids who are home doing their school work so a working toilet is essential. I told them thanks and I'm calling somebody else. So I called A&T Plumbing Inc. & Son. Let me tell you Leth arrived promptly and said ""We will get this fixed"" and he was right. He used a different machine to rod out the pipe and within a couple runs through the clog was gone. The toilets drain like a champ now. They are a local company and I will never call somebody else when it comes to a plumbing issue. They will get the problem fixed. Excellent customer service and couldn't ask for a quicker response from the time I called.

I have used this plumbing business twice, once for a new water heater install & once for a clogged kitchen drain pipe. Both times I got great service! They were able to schedule an appointment for me right away, gave me a timeframe window, arrived on time, were courteous & professional, and very reasonably priced. Both times the service performed was perfectly done, no further problems. I would highly recommend this company!!

Scott ( the 'Son' of A & T Plumbing Inc & Son ) works hard and does great work. We bought an 1886 Queen Anne Victorian in West Dundee three years ago, and these guys have been our 'go-to' plumbers ever since. Glad we found them. They come out quickly, and have installed a reverse osmosis under sink system, as well as 2 toilets, plus an outdoor hose faucet, among other things. We appreciate their services, and will continue to use them and recommend them.

Do NOT recommend. Overcharged for emergency water heater installation. $1400 total, $1000 in labor, and $150 for a 2nd guy to help carry the water heater into the house on the 1st floor, no stairs.

Price was awesome and gave me what I needed and helped me with my budget needs. 5 stars for sure. This is the company I will use moving forward and will recommend to everyone. I had a great experience with them. My sink was backing up to the point I couldn't wash dishes, use the dishwasher, etc and I was desperate. I tried to take the trap off and caused a leak instead so I looked up ""plumbers"" and they came up first. Called them and the repairman was out within a few hours. He was honest, kind and worked hard. I needed to have my pipes replaced completely and a few other things done, I was charged a very fair price and everything was done perfectly. I will use them again when something like that comes up.

NEVER USE THESE GUYS!!! They are negligent scam artists at best. We used them on referral to install a hot water heater. Upon install, they caused a gas leak, and not only took no responsibility for it, but told my wife she was nuts and there was no leak. 2 days later, after Nicor came out and turned the gas off, they finally came back to fix the leak they caused, and charged my wife extra ""emergency weekend"" fees. They replaced a valve that was not leaking, and the leak continued. Nicor finally fixed it 2 days later.
These guys are totally negligent and take no responsibility. Total bait and switch business. Cause a problem, charge you to fix, not fix it, charge you again. AND, the guy is totally unprofessional and a complete jerk. NEVER use these guys. Horrible service, horrible workmanship, horrible business.
