They installed six items in my house three of them leaked. They overcharged me $2000 per item that means 2K for a waterline to the ice machine 2K to put in a existing sink. I was flabbergasted by the bill. Then, when I questioned them about the hours spent at my house after I received the bill I told them that it doesn't match up with the security system time and date stamps that I have do not trust these people.

Lied to and overcharged. One man simple job to replace cartridge in shower valve. Job only took 30 minutes of work for one plumber and they sent 2 and charged me over double the cost of parts.

Needed cartridges replaced in 3 leaking Delta shower valves. I brought them info needed to get new cartridges (valve series and age). They told me they would make appt after obtaining part.

They showed up next day without part. After looking at valve and verifying part they said it would take 5-10 minutes extra to do second and third valve. They had to leave to see about obtaining parts. Called me and told me $118 per cartridge. I found them in stock at home depot for $65. They said this is what thier supplier charged. Over 1 hour later they showed up and completed job in about 10 minutes.

My bill then came with charge for 4 manhours of work (they were at my house about 30 minutes total. and charged $144 per part ($65 at home depot).

I paid $894 for a job that should have cost less than $200.

Lied to when I stopped at their office. Lied to at home about the cost of parts. Asked about labor charges before job and during and never told. Asked for them to explain charges and never given an explanation.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY LIED TO ME AND WOULD NOT EXPLAIN OR JUSTIFY THE OUTRAGEOUS CHARGE FOR THIS SIMPLE JOB.

Be very careful when you hire this Plumber.
In 2012 I had them install a Crown gas fired direct vent condensing unit, it failed within two years of operation. It cost me one thousand dollars to replace a failed $550 blower motor, the rest labor for five man hours. Neither them nor the boiler manufacture Crown Boiler now owned by Velocity Boilers stood by this product. Crown support went as far as to hang up on me during a heated phone conversation, as far as they were concerned it was out of warranty, too bad so sad, sucks to be you.
Already stung by the unit performance, I had a preventative serviced performed a year later, the plumber/technician sent was not trained on this unit and stumbled through the entire hour it took him to clean the igniter and then only to contaminate it by blowing on it. The boiler worked ok for another year but in the Fall of 2017 it started to act up again by randomly failing to turn on. This progressively got worse during 2018 Winter. For six months I tried to get this plumber to come up with a solution but got nothing but excuses. On one further visit they tried to diagnose the error messages and end up complaining they had been trained to solder pipes not to diagnose electronic message and actually tried to remove a wire terminal screw with a box cutter blade. I offered them one of my screw drivers. Definitely an old school boiler types and not trained for anything electronic.

Quickly running out of time before winter and with no resolution in sight I hired a different plumber that quickly spelled it out for me. This unit know as the Bimini series has serious issues with the controller and heat exchanger, not to mention the blower. This unit was not reliable and it had not been installed properly for radiator use, no inline filter to trap sediment. Basically the repairs would continue and the maintenance to keep it going very expensive.
Decided to replace it with a different manufacture which supposedly has a much better reputation and easier to maintain. I hope.

The work was done well, but the cost was four times what it should have been, the owner was condescending and unhelpful.
I would never recommend them to anybody.

Over priced. Charged me 2 hours at $95 for someone to drive 20 to get a new faucet. When I called him he said ""That's how we do business, we have been doing it this way for 15 years and will continue to do it this way""! What horrible service. A change of a faucet cost over $400! That is crazy.

Here's the good news: my tub is draining. Here's the bad news: The 2 guys were here for 40 minutes and I ended up with a bill for $125. A&T charged me $30 for the use of an electrical snake. When I called to ask about the charge, Steve told me that he had to pay $5 per gallon for gas (even though I live less than a mile from their shop AND I was their first customer of the day) also he told me he had to pay to maintain his van, maintain the snake and that I was lucky to have 2 of his guys on the job. Steve told me he didn't need my business and that he was the best plumber in Southeastern New England and that I should pay my bill and God Bless. I will pay my bill but I will not recommend A&T because they overcharge. $30 for an electric snake??? What's next, a charge for using a plunger!? Come on.
