I was converting my garage into an ADU. Inspector came out and said I needed to have a separate tankless water heater installed, gas line extended from main house to the new unit and some interior plumbing reworked! So I came to yelp searched for a plumber explained my situation and requested a quote. One good thing about the quote request on yelp is that it sends your message to multiple plumbers who are all local to my area. So moving on, all of the plumbers replied to my ad in a timely manner and within a day or two all had requested to come out to assess the job. Out of all the companies that came out, one stood out for me. This was A-sure plumbing! Mario was very professional and polite. in our initial meeting he quickly assessed the situation and within minutes I had a estimate of repairs in my had. I told Mario that I needed to give all the plumbers that were interested in seeing the project the opportunity and he was very courteous and said he was looking forward to getting the opportunity to work with me on this project. So after looking at all the estimates, they all had come in with a couple of hundred dollars of difference within each other. Mario's initial approach and his competitive price made my decision easier. I called Mario and scheduled for the work to start. He came in on time and completed the job within the exact time frame that he said he would. After the work was complete the next day my main house water heater would not turn on. I called Mario and he said that most likely the pilot of my water heather went out and he told me that he has seen these type of pilots give out a lot on customers. I knew that the problem was not Mario's it just happened that the pilot gave out during uninstalling and installing my water heater! But never the less Mario offered to help and came out the next morning to take care of the issue. All in all I had a great experience with A-Sure plumbing and Mario was a pleasure to work with. I recommend using them for any and all your plumbing needs as they do everything from big to small jobs.

Mario saved my marriage! My father in law was staying at our small house for Father's Day weekend and suddenly the water heater stopped working! My wife gave me 'that look.' It was a Friday. I desperately called around and no one could come out until Monday. This was going to be a loooong weekend. Then, the phone rang. It was one of the plumbers that I called earlier and he wanted to give me Mario's number. I called Mario and my fortune changed! Mario said he would be there today at 2:00 and he was there at 2:00. He was nice, happy and a joy to chat with. He took apart the tankless water heater and called the manufacturer but the warranty was expired. He said it wasn't worth it to repair it and he could get a new one installed on Monday. But wait, still no hot water until Monday? Mario said he would try to work around his schedule and see if possible he could come on Saturday. Sure enough, I got a text Saturday morning that he was on his way! He and his crew showed up an hour later with a brand new tankless water heater! Their work was clean, perfect and fast. No time and a half for Saturday work. My wife gave me a big kiss and my father in law gave me a big pat on the back and a 'you done good' wink. Thank you Mario! We will always be using you!

Marvin and Mario were excellent. They sent a text when they were on their way and arrived during the given time frame. They were charismatic and personable. We had a small hiccup while installing our kitchen sink faucet and they were able to talk through options and provide a solution. Would definitely recommend them and use again if needed for plumbing or contract work. Thanks gentlemen!

Mario is so talented at what he does (plumbing and also general contracting), offers very reasonable prices, is reliable and fast, and is completely transparent. Also just a really nice person. He has fixed several plumbing issues for us and most recently oversaw the construction of our new shower (the pan broke so the whole thing needed rebuilding). It was a complicated job and he communicated with us throughout promptly and honestly, explaining everything with patience and addressing our concerns large and small. He came up with clever and creative solutions to a few issues that surfaced (the results of shoddy past work from before we moved in). The end result is beautiful and I still think how much I love our new shower every time I use it...which is why I was reminded to write this review! I would also add that he was great at dealing with various inspectors and making sure everything was done to code and also very promptly.

Fair and Honest. What more do you want in a plumber? I equate it to a car mechanic.. You don't know how to fix the problem but you know enough to know when you are being taken.
I had a slab leak. I got a free inspection from a corporate rooter company. He confirmed it was a slab leak. He then told me I would need a leak detection service. $750, but if I hired him they would put $375 towards repairs. I have no running water, haven't showered in two days, and I was feeling desperate. My instinct was to book the appointment ASAP..but I didn't.
For those of you who have studied conmen or manipulation (I am a dabbler in the art) one of the first steps is reciprocity. Giving something for free endears you to the mark. The mark feels an instant trust and DEBT of gratitude to the con.
They gave me a free inspection. I feel like I should at least give them a chance to work on this since they did this for me, right? Then it's going to be $750 in order to just find out how screwed I am and how much I'm going to have to pay for the actual repairs. And now I feel like I have to hire them for the job in order to recoup the $375 of that $750 to go towards the actual repairs . And that's where they've got you. Because now you're in too deep and it's been too long since you had any running water so you'll pay them whatever they ask.
Instead, I got on yelp and start doing my research. I found 20 plumbers in the area and sent them an email asking for a free quote.
Everyone of them sent back an email saying they needed more information. So I'm back to square one calling each individual plumber one by one and asking them for a quote. And what I should say is
I didn't speak to the plumber.
I spoke to the dispatcher.
And the piece of information they needed to know in order to give me a quote was where do I live.
If you are in Beverly Hills I bet you they have an opening. I also bet it's going to be just a little bit more. No proof.. My feeling..
Then I called Mario with my last of 20 phone calls.
I was confused.
He answered the phone.
When he said he needed more information, he actually asked me questions about my situation and got ACTUAL information.
He came out, looked over the situation.. He was able to determine, by asking me about my special set of circumstances , that I didn't actually need the leak detection service. He waived the inspection fee and just put it towards the cost of the repairs which were about half of what I was expecting or what I had been estimating from people I spoke with... especially when you add in the leak repair service I didn't need.
Mario is GOLD! Don't take my word for it. Call all the other plumbers.. Or should I say, talk to dispatch. See how much personal interest Sally on line three has in your flooding house. Then call Mario and get it done right at the right price.

Mario has been my plumber for a several years and he is the best. He's repiped my lawn, fixed a leaked inside my wall, installed a water heater and did repiping for my new washer. He is extremely trustworthy, easy going and if he's running late, he'll call so he's very conscience of your time.

Mario is the BEST! He has helped us our more times than I can count! From a broken heater, to replacing an old sewage pipe, to our broken kitchen faucet-- he's the best! We have a very tempermental heather and whenever it gives us trouble Mario has been quick to the rescue! And it's not only been our heater, but our leaky kitchen faucet that one day ERUPTED from the wall-- he replaced the faucet and picked out an affordable quality new faucet that has given us NO trouble since he installed it (and that's super helpful when you know NOTHING about faucets!) We love Mario and are so grateful to A-Sure Plumbing for helping us out again and again and AGAIN!
