All our sinks were backing up in our house. Of course it's Christmas Eve and we have family staying over. While everyone else was quoting crazy prices, Carlos gave us a reasonable estimate. Carlos came on time (which is a huge plus), snaked and then hydrojetted (a must for grease clogs) within one hour. Now all sinks are working great and we can enjoy our Christmas Eve party! 2ndOP was actually a third opinion, LOL, but he saved me from plumbers who either weren't prepared, or charged way too much. My House was having some weird plumbing issues. The toilet seemed OK, but when we were running the dishwasher in the washing machine at the same time, all the used water that was draining contributed to a clog that we didn't know was there yet. Out of nowhere, the toilet started bubbling and gurgling, and spitting out the used dishwasher and washing machine water. I forgot it all connects and drains underneath the house to the city sewage.

So Plumber 1: Clears the clog with an auger cable snake. Unfortunately, and I didn't realize at the time, he popped out the backwater valve. A little tip is never let a plumber clear a clog without having first inspected it with a camera snake, and/or sensor. Because of this, it was randomly shifting around under there, and caused another clog. We called that same plumber, and he fixed it for free, but said we needed a camera snake, which he did not have.

Plumber 2: This one does all the camera diagnostics and wireless sensor that helps locate where the back water valve was dislodged. At the time I was unaware of my front yard sewer access, and had just got the city water dept. to help me locate it. However, Plumber 2 was a big corporation, and they wanted to charge me thousands of dollars to complete the job. All they had to do was dig a hole and reattach, or replace the valve. I thought the price gouging was ridiculous, I needed a another opinion.

Plumber 3: That's where 2ndOP tech Carlos enters the story. He gives me a fair price, gives me really good advice, and I decide to keep the existing part as it was nothing wrong with it, it literally just had to be popped back in. When I look back, it was originally just a paper towel blockage which would not have been a problem had the first plumber used camera equipment to discover how far to go, and not to go.
