I called and made my appointment which was super fast. They came to our home and were very polite and friendly. I appreciate their honesty with our toilet issues. Every step of the way I was informed and texted. The crew fixed our toilets and the job was done amazingly.

These guys took on our tough re plumbing of our drain lines in an old spidery crawl space with a nasty leak that's been there who knows how long. They were fast, reliable and great communicators. Smooth process and grateful they took it on! Thanks guys!

I called because I suspected my heat tape failed and my pipes were starting to freeze. Brian did a diagnostic on the case and told me he thought it was a breakage outside of the home. He took the least amount of time to find a possible reason for the problem. His diagnosis was spot on.

We were recommended A River City Plumber by another plumber who was booked. Unfortunately when I inquired about costs, I misunderstood their hourly plumber rate to be $180 per hour for two plumbers who would do the job. That seemed high enough, but it was $180 per hour per plumber or $360 per hour! While the work was acceptable, the rate doesn't match their ad on Craigslist for a plumber paying $25 to $35 per hour when you figure the annual pay they list. To top it off, they refused to provide me an itemized bill. Acceptable work doesn't make up for rest of this experience. Never again.

I used this company because my usual plumber was backed up for three weeks and referred me to them. I will not use them again.
They did show up as promised and installed a kitchen faucet. The plumber was unpleasant, smelled bad and couldn't physically go down the narrow steep steps into the basement to shut off the water. He had an assistant with him but chewed him out in front of us so that the young man left and I (75 yrs old) had to climb into the basement to turn the water on and off. This I could have overlooked but then the bill was exceptionally high. Aside from the cost of the faucet, labor charges were over $350 for a one hour service call.

Was able to get a plumber the same day I called, which was great. My plumber was Brian and he solved my leaking valve without incident and for a reasonable price. He was all business, but friendly and answered my question as he worked. I'm very pleased with the timely and professional service I received.

Surprised these guys are still in business! I had them out to my house in the past and they were absolutely Terrible! All I have to say is take a look at their BBB comments. I had to take my complaint with them there- I would never call them ever!

Had Dan's company at my house. Things really weren't going well, and he snapped at one of his workers who was really busting ass, and had nothing to do with what Dan's problem was. I couldn't believe he'd go off on an employee in front of a customer. Will be using someone else from now on.

We had a leaking natural gas pipe, incredibly clogged floor drain, and a leaking hot water heater. Brian fixed all three problems in one visit. He kept us informed of what was happening and answered all of our questions. The clean out on the floor drain was covered by concrete from the original construction of the 45 year old house. Brian figured out the location of the clean out and uncovered it, and then proceeded to clean decades of built up debris from the trap. We were very impressed with his knowledge and hard work. We will be using A River City Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs in the future.

As with one of the other reviews we were not given an estimate either, that being said we never asked for one either. Ours was a kitchen faucet and underneath the sink total pipe replacement. We had contacted months earlier another company for a different plumbing issue and asked them while they were at our place what the cost would be to fix our kitchen faucet. They gave us a quote and A River City Plumbing ended up being pretty much spot on to the other companies quote. The most expensive charge for us was the faucet assembly itself. We wanted a really good one so that was on us. The actually charge to install was very reasonable, in fact much cheaper then I was expecting. The plumbers that showed up were the best, friendly and courteous and had our issue fixed within 2 hours. They poured water into our sinks for way longer then I would have to make sure there was no leaks. I will definitely be calling these people again if I need to.
