I initially called Rooterguy LLC to replace a outdoor faucet (hose bib). While Brent was here he indicated that the pressure on our line was 100 PSI. Brent recommended installing a new pressure reducing valve for $530 to reduce the pressure. I called Mathew Rabii for a 2nd quote who as it turns out he is the owner of A-Reliable Plumbing and prefers to be the first contact with the company for his customers. He and his assistant Mark showed excellent customer service while they were here. Matthew evaluated the situation and quickly determined we did not need a new pressure valve, all we needed was a crescent wrench to adjust the current valve to a lower pressure. The pressure was reduced from 100 PSI to 70 PSI. Matthew only charged for a visit to the house $90 - versus Rooterguy who would have charged $530. Seems as though we would have been ripped off by Brent with Rooterguy. I highly recommend A-Reliable as a honest, fast and dependable company who I fully recommend for plumbing service. I wish I had called A-Reliable to initially have my faucet replaced. JT Fischer, Denver, CO

Won't do business with this company ever again. They made a huge mess of our front yard, Destroyed all of the sod and flower beds, muddied the brand new carpeting inside, and left gaping holes in our drywall! We had to fix it all in a hurry as we had tenants. When we asked to be (partially) reimbursed their customer service rep, Cat, threatened to put a lien on our property.
Do not hire these guys!!!

I had Mathew & an associate come out to look at my bathroom remodel for free, which was gracious of them considering that this business usually charges an estimate fee, and they were able to accommodate changes to my schedule during the day - also good.
Unfortunately it went downhill from there. I found Mathew to be very argumentative and not much of a people person. When I queried why certain things needed to be done over and above what I expected, Mathew was kind of aggressive in his responses, rather than explaining the rationale for what was required in a calm and professional manner. Mathew explained to me that I had to remove the ceiling in the finished bathroom in the basement in order to generate an accurate estimate - well I thought that this was excessive at the estimate stage, so I casually suggested that he take a look at the photos that I had of the plumbing above the finished bathroom ceiling. I explained that this, although not ideal, would help them generate a better estimate. I think Mathew heard me, but seemed to refuse to listen and argued that it was tear out the finished bathroom ceiling or nothing. The meeting wasn't going well, so I made the decision to end the meeting and thanked them for their time.
Needless to say, I was surprised and disappointed at the outcome of this interaction. As they were departing I quipped to them that I was surprised that the Yelp reviews were so good, and that I might wright one of my own. Mathew responsed by saying that the last guy who wrote a bad review is still paying for attorney fees - enough said!

As a side note - the other plumber who accompanied Mathew seemed to be courteous and professional. Alas, I cannot comment on the actual quality of their work since we did not get past the first meeting.

I called A-Reliable Plumbing on the recommendation of a friend who had used them and I could not be happier with the service provided. Our hot water heater needed to have a part fixed and we had been without hot water for six days. We were desperate! I called A-Reliable this morning and the plumber has been here, done the work, and I am now just waiting for the water to heat up. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly courteous and very helpful. I would use this company again and recommend them to anyone I know!

We have used Matthew several times for various plumbing jobs.

Each time he assesses the problem and presents the fix that he thinks makes the most sense AND is most economical. We had a leaky sprinkler valve that we assumed needed to be replaced. He tightened it and said that it was just loose. Any other plumber would have charged us to replace it rather than be honest. His prices are very reasonable as well.

He has always been pleasant and on time. I can't say enough good things about him.
