A Reliable Plumber prioritizes your needs, ensuring our plumber is there before water issues arise. Our approach is to function mainly as a plumbing service provider, handling small remodels only. We steer clear of new construction projects. We aim to be the reliable Service Plumber you can trust when others cannot assist. We will pick up the phone, even after hours, on weekends, and during holiday weekends!
Howard acquired his plumbing expertise at Procter and Gamble. He initially worked with steam distribution systems. Eventually, he progressed to potable water lines, sanitary systems, and waste ejector pumps. He furthered his knowledge with compressed air systems and compressor maintenance. He finished his college-level training in plumbing. Howard moved into service plumbing in Southern California. In 2016, he obtained his plumbing license and started A Reliable Plumber.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Howard made the move to Mammoth Lakes in 2000. He worked as a lift operator at Mammoth Mountain until 2005. Following that, he lived on the East Coast for ten years. In that time, he honed his skills in all areas of plumbing. With his family, he moved back to the Eastern Sierra, a place close to his heart. Today, Howard can work hard and play even harder!

Raymond P.I was staying at a friends home in Mammoth. Called out plumber because toilet was leaking. Shotty work at best. Left a mess. Do yourself a favor and call another company. Two guys showed up. And one of them smelled so bad of marijuana. My 5 year old asked what the smell was. The Mexican kid was yelling in Spanish on his phone most of the time. Seriously bad service!
B. K.Work done for me had to all be redone. Still trying to recover a valve that was tightened too hard and now need to replaced via opening the wall. Toilet flush systems installed with screws etc. Not sure what happened when I called a plumber that is licensed but very costly aftermath. Still trying to find the parts broken and mis-installed. All work done had to be redone. Nice people but not a plumber I would ever call back. Not sure how much all this damage will cost me to fix. I have pictures of how things looked before they came and it was left in a mess handle broken off etc . After complaining about the issues just said they looked at YouTube and will come fix it !!! A licensed plumber learning from YouTube ! Now I am stuck with huge bills, time wasted on these projects and parts that are impossible to find. Don't like to leave bad reviews but as you can imagine I am super frustrated with Howard and his team.
