In the last couple of days we had a serious plumbing problem. The Cal American Water subcontracted workers who recently completed street piping upgrades had done an amateurish job of connecting the new service to my home's PVC piping, and a pipe broke, pouring water out of my water meter. We immediately had Cal American shut off water to my house--on the day after Christmas. I called A & R Plumbing upon the recommendation from my daughter. A & R sent out Reuben Vega, who did an absolutely outstanding job for us. The repair was complicated, involving some cement demolition, digging, and pipe connector reconstruction. Reuben and his assistant completed the repairs within about three hours. He communicated very clearly, explaining exactly what work was needed and gave us a ballpark estimate based on A & R's customer friendly time and materials pricing. The final cost was about 1/3 of what I feared it might be. I could not be happier about the work A & R did for us! A+ !

This is the best plumber in the area. And we have used a bunch of them. Fantastic service by plumbers who know what they are doing. And they not only fix your problem but they do it the right way making sure all fixes are done to code. Prices are fair. A & R has become our go to plumbers.

A rock-solid 5 stars! A & R just installed a new Toto in our upstairs bathroom. The installers, Mario and Alden, were professional, friendly, extremely efficient and meticulous about cleanliness. Mario, the lead man, is a true craftsman and exceeded our expectations in every regard. We have 2 other plumbing projects on the horizon and I am certain we will be using A & R again.

We have twice in one week used A&R Plumbing and had a very positive experience both times. We were lucky to be assigned a very competent plumber named Mario Garcia. He managed to find a water leak in the dark, wet (and scary) crawl space under our house and quickly replaced the corroded pipe. He then came back today to install a new dishwasher since the old once was damaged when the aforementioned water leak must have shorted out the outlet. IN both cases he was professional, friendly and efficient. Also, the plumbing company was able to accommodate out requests for appointments in a timely manner.

Our guy was ok except he broke our kitchen faucet tried to make it seem like it was already broken trust me there is no way we wouldnt have noticed if it was broken before he worked on it. Pretty disappointing that he liked. Probably won't use them again.
