Founded in the year 1925, A&R Mechanical Contractors, Inc. originated as the Reichard Plumbing and Heating Company. Housed in a tiny garage on Illinois Street and initially offering a couple of services, A&R weathered the Great Depression, WWII, several recessions, and almost a century of changes in the construction to grow into the leading firm it is in the present day.

As our neighborhood and customers' enterprises developed, so did A&R. During 1967, we established our maiden ductwork shop and shifted to our current site on Kettering Park. From that point forward, we've continued to expand the offerings we deliver to our community. We consistently explore innovative tools like BIM, leverage prefab techniques through robotic manufacturing machinery and modular systems. We support an holistic project delivery model that permits us to analyze, plan, develop, and build medical facilities, educational institutions, factories, and government buildings for the advantage of our communities.
