our main water line coming from the city valve to the house valve sprung a leak early in the morning. We didnt realize what happened until i walked outside and noticed the entire side of my house was flooded and water begin flowing to the front and sidewalk. Being that it was around 8am when we caught this, we called the city who came out quickly and turned off the main valve from the city-side but unfortunately the problem with the pipe leak was ours. A-Quick team came out and arrived super fast (like 5 min after the city water supervisor had just left). They took a look at what happened and estimated what was needed to fix. Gave me a fair quote (compared to what friends have paid for similar service) and told me the job would take approximately 5 hours since they had to repipe it with new copper pipes. My house already had copper piping inside but the outside main pipes were still the original galvanized ones.

they got the materials needed and cleaned up the fix in time and perfectly. Checked everything was working and no hidden surprise charges. These guys are LEGIT!! will definitely call them for any future plumbing needs and recommend to any friends/family if asked.

I called after we came back from a weekend away and came home to a clogged sink. Richard arrived within 20 minutes and was able to unclog. After he left we noticed another leak and he came right back unfortunately we were headed to dinner and it was getting late so he came back the following morning to repair that as well for a very very reasonable price he was on time professional and spoke through everything he was doing and what was going on. Great customer service and very affordable. Definitely impressed with their response time thank you guys

My bath tub, kitchen sink and bathroom sink were clogged. I had a plumber come out from another company that couldn't fix it and suggested that this was my main line that was backed up and he left frustrated and suggested I call someone else out to remove my toilet and work on it from there. This left me really frustrated.

I called A-Quick Rooter & Plumbing in hopes to have someone come out today. Ten minutes later I got a message back from them letting me know someone was on the way. Two men arrived asked a few questions, quoted me a fair price up front and had my issue fixed in about five minutes.

Will definitely use this plumbing company again.

Richard was incredibly nice and friendly. We had a backed up kitchen sink and he snaked the line which improved drainage drastically. He still wasn't happy with the draining flow rate and said if it backs up again or keeps backing up in the future we may need to add a clean out / redo a little plumbing. Will definitely give him a call if we ever have issues again.

My wife and I live in Seal Beach and yesterday our garbage disposal got backed up and we were unable to repair it on our own. We needed help immediately! We called several plumbing services but no one was available to come to our home and fix our problem. One plumbing Co. (Applegate) was kind enough to give us a referral phone number. I called the number and asked if they could come to our home yesterday afternoon. As it turned out the person that answered was Ricardo Plasencia the owner and operator of A-Quick Rooter & Plumbing Co. in Lakewood. Ricardo was quick to say that he would be to our home within the hour. He has a kind and reassuring voice and we were immediately reassured. He arrived and greeted us with an extremely professioal manner. He is a nice man who with his 30 years of plumbing experience repaired our disposal and unclogged our kitchen sink. I am not in the habit of giving overly positive reviews but in this case I feel comfortable giving Ricardo an A+++ for his work and for his professionalism I encourage anyone looking for a plumber to call Ricardo Plasencia at 562-824-3384. He is the BEST!

Super fast response, quick to find the problem, and no-nonsense when it comes to getting the job done!

I called A-Quick Rooter late on a Saturday night; my main sewer was clogged and we were unable to use any toilets, sinks, or showers in our home. The man who answered the phone was upfront about the minimum price given the late hour and weekend, but it seemed very reasonable for an emergency situation. He said he'd be out in an hour, and sure enough, he was at my door in about 45 minutes with an assistant. He was very efficient, as he walked around the property and asked focused questions to identify the issue. Since there was no access to a ""clean out"", he unloaded some impressively large equipment and climbed up on the roof to gain access to the main drain line. After 10-15 minutes, everything was running again. When I asked what the problem was, he said ""probably a baby wipe"", which was surprising, since we never flush anything like that. Fortunately, he was able to retrieve the item causing the blockage, which on further inspection actually turned out to be a cloth rag that was flushed by our cleaning person. As the assistant wrote up the invoice, we had a moment to chat a bit. Turns out he's been working in this area (long beach) for decades. He was super nice and helpful with suggestions that would make any future issues cheaper and easier to deal with. This guy is solid. He has an excellent work ethic, and even wanted to drop the extra charge to climb on the roof to fix the problem. But if he was willing to work on my steep roof in the middle of the night, I felt he should get paid for it. Overall, very reasonable price for an emergency plumbing situation late on a weekend night, that he quickly resolved. I will call him if I need ANY plumbing work done in the future.

Jeremiah came out pretty quick after we called and he let us know that going under the house would be a cost but cost would be deducted from contract which we agreed with.

We contracted for a new run of copper pipe but the copper they brought out already had patina. We also told them to anchor the pipes but you can see the pipe was not anchored with proper on-center spacing.

The pipes would flail around and hit adjacent material when turning the water on and off. This can be clearly heard in the kitchen.

We contacted them to go fix it but they never came out and fixed the issue. Not a company that owns up to their warranty or workmanship.

Would not recommend.

These guys are awesome. Called them around 7am for a blocked drainage issue, was there by 8am to help me out and fixed the problem. I will call them again for any other plumbing issues.

Worked on my parents home since I work/am not handy. Job was facuet installs and fixing a leak from pipes under a bathroom sink.

-Responsive
-Seems knowlegable (from my not-good-at-plumbing perspective): made small suggestions to keep costs down and prevent big future problems with PVC pipes (since they don't corrode/weaken from build-up I guess)
-good temperament: Honest guy, feels like an old school plumber, and not so much like a used car salesman.
-BEST PART: Didn't try to upsell my parents telling them they NEED to replace a bunch of other stuff. I hate pushy guys that do that.
-prices felt reasonably priced compared to 3 other plumbers and handymen we requested estimates from (including a smell good plumber, if you know what I mean). In my case, this was the lowest price of all the estimates, which is odd since handymen are usually supposed to be cheaper than plumbers for simple plumbing jobs.

I got his business card, and personally will be calling him when needed in the future, unless he drops to two stars on yelp for some odd reason.
