There are five-star reviews, and then there are FIVE-STAR REVIEWS!!! This review is a FIVE-STAR REVIEW!!! Yes, I am yelling it from my rooftop!!! From the moment I called very early on a Monday morning, to the FIX at an AFFORDABLE PRICE, was merely a couple of hours!!! HECK YES to this after a miserable night without A/C and fears that we would have to spend a few days in a hotel!!

We have used this company before, as noted by my previous reviews. I honestly didn't remember who we used last. Thankfully, I very recently received a text from A Quality HVAC Services offering to come and service our unit at a discounted price as previous customers. I didn't respond right away, but I planned on contacting them. We didn't have any issues or concerns, so it was on the back of my mind and on the back burner of my priorities.

The Universe delivered to me, as usual!! LOL! I didn't know that I was going to need them (and need to be reminded of who we successfully used in the past), but last night our A/C went out!! It was a miserable night!! It is forecasted to be 114 degrees today!! This morning was already HOT!! Our very thoughtful teen was leaving for school, and he brought me the fan from his room and plugged it in and blasted me before he left for school!! LOL! He knew that it was going to get WORSE!!

I actually didn't initially think about the text that I received just days ago from A Quality HVAC. I went to Yelp and to Better Business Bureau looking at all of the many options. I was discouraged and disappointed as not one of the companies ""felt right"" for me. My hubby was doing research too. We honestly thought that we would have to REPLACE the unit because the neighbors surrounding us have had to do so. We were being VERY careful who we chose to use. If a place isn't going to be in business two or five years from now, we do NOT want to buy a A/C unit with a 10-year warranty!

After researching for about an hour, I suddenly remembered the text message that I received a few days ago from A Quality HVAC!! I looked up the Yelp reviews and I saw MY OWN past reviews!! HELLO!!! I made a call and within an hour John showed up, and he was a pro! He was the SAME guy who helped us in the past!! This is a family-owned business that has been in business for about 25 years!!

John diagnosed our situation quickly and as a very minor issue!!! Within an hour to diagnose and repair, our A/C is working, and we are sitting here happy in our cool house, despite it being 114 degrees outside!! We WON'T lose this contact information!! We taped the business card to our fridge so as to never forget who to call when and if we have a problem!!

Feeling chill, happy and grateful that I got that text a few days ago, otherwise this story might not have such a happy ending!! LOL!!

I do want to clarify that they may not be able to arrive within an hour and fix you up like it worked out for us this time, but I will say that they have earned our trust and all of our future business!!! KUDOS for a job well done, for being HONEST and for being speedy (when it was an option on this particular occasion)!!!

Saturday evening my dad's air stopped working. It was 97 degrees in his house. We were referred to the company and really glad we were. I called Saturday evening and spoke to a really nice lady. She scheduled a technician to come over Sunday morning. The technician arrived early and was able to repair the unit. It's an older unit and they didn't try to upsell. I'm debating whether it is 4 or 5 star, but leaning towards 5. The most important things are the workmanship, availability, accuracy and professionalism. These were all aced with flying colors. You get what you pay for. It wasn't a cheap AC replacement. They were ready within an hour of my call to add additional refrigerant. They were available to reschedule as needed. They turned on a dime for me. They got me the energy rebate I requested, without me having to lift a finger. They worked directly with my insurance to make sure I was taken care of. They make detailed reports and can explain the more decisions. Even though I didn't need the extra thermostat at this time, it was included in the package. I had to ask for it when it came time to pay the bill. I think it was complimentary along with the install but they still itemize free things on the receipt. The complimentary refrigerant was left off the receipt, the only exception.

I had use this company in the past for many years. They installed a new unit on my business. I worked fine until need to use the heat. Informed them it would not come on. Tech came out and changed wires on unit on roof that goes to the thermostat. As we all know winter is very short. So to my surprise in spring now the A/C would not come on. I was told that they would charge me for a service call because and i quote Clint ""you must have changed the wires"" I reminded him that i have used his company for many years and for many units on my rentals, that he was going to that petty i would take my business else were. So i did. When that companies tech came out and checked the wires it was determined that when the new unit that was installed by A quality they spliced a longer piece of thermostat wire to the new unit and they did not match colored wires correctly so that the same pattern on the unit matched the pattern at thermostat. The lack of detail by A Quality caused me lots of aggravation and for them to lose a good customer.

I do find it interesting that a company that claims to be in business for 25 years only has a handful of reviews. Kind of tells me they dont have a whole lot of happy customers.

I got an estimate from this company. I asked Abby a few questions over the phone yesterday about some other issues with my garage concerning insulation along with the air conditioning. Abby kept putting me on hold and asking her manager answers to my questions to make sure she gave me the right answers. That is fine with me since she was making sure she gave me correct answers from the manager themselves. But: She told me that the manager said the estimate they had given me originally would include everything we had discussed over the phone yesterday. I asked them to give me an updated estimate sheet that put that verbiage in writing. They sent that over today and they added over $1000 for services on top of that estimate I had yesterday. I called and asked them why they did that and that they didn't honor what the manager said yesterday about the estimate they already gave me being all inclusive. I was told the manager would call me back. The manager never called me back. They sent me some new estimate with a little discount but it was still $1000 over what they said was the estimate that would be all inclusive yesterday. I called them back to again ask why they didn't go or what they/the manager assured me yesterday through Abby. Abby assured me that the manager would call me after they got back from lunch. The manager never called me. I do not recommend this company; they do not stick to what they say including what the manager says. They also don't have enough respect for me as a potential customer to call me back. I had an appointment set with them to have them tuneup another AC in my house and I canceled that with them since I no longer trust and respect them. My neighborhood just joined next-door and we tell each other what companies to hire and what to avoid. I will be telling my neighbors to avoid this company. Hold these people accountable to what they say they; have no problem slapping on over $1000 to anything. And that is a manager's assurance they didn't stick to. Do not trust them. And it's too bad because John, the guy who came out to check the AC situation in my garage, was really nice-- but he's working for a company that doesn't stick to what they tell you. Be careful, avoid them.
