I can't believe I am finally done with the nightmare that lasted 15 months!!! I own a rental unit that had fire damage back in January 2019. Not a pleasant experience but I was thinking its not the end of the world as I had insurance and Thank God no one got hurt. Well, I was surprised by what kind of hoops I had to jump to get my unit fixed. My insurance company wouldn't help me deal with HOA(master policy for the building) and now I know why! I learned that unfortunately, I cannot hire a contractor to repair my unit until HOA completes repairs in ""common areas ""( which includes removing the drywall, all of the electrical and plumbing that got damaged and then putting it all back, getting inspections done and a whole lot more.)
I was extremely patient, I assumed the property management company with HOA should know what they're doing. Now I know for a fact they don't!!! After hundreds of emails and voicemails, with me trying to get a status update on my unit seven months went by and ultimately no repairs being done. I was given a run around as you would believe it. I was getting desperate, I talked to a couple of attorneys and the Takeaway was that it would take even longer if I hired an attorney and it was going to cost me even more in lost rent, attorney fees, and additional stress. Thank God I remembered that James Gardner helped me about a year ago with my other rental and he not only repaired the water damage in my unit but he also helped me to get all of the needed repairs covered by insurance. I know for a fact it's hard to find honest, reliable, and knowledgeable contractors our days. I called James and let him know what I've been dealing with for the last seven months he couldn't believe it. He said he will help me get my unit fixed and he did.
Only after James got involved the repairs moved forward. He sent emails referencing specific sections of CC&Rs and guiding HOA and Property management company on how they should do their job. Where in CC&R documents they should look to find the coverage they are required to provide per their own legal documents! It was pure negligence on their part and complete miss handling of my claim. In the end, we got what we were entitled to under liability claim. Months of emails and calls plus endless frustration, James was there for me. I can't explain how grateful I am to James for everything he helped me overcome. I don't wish anyone the experience I went through, but if you are in a similar situation James Gardner is the best Constriction Consultant you can find to fight for you.

This company came out for my landlord to give a quote. But really came to give the landlord a fake reason to blame us for all the mold. He wrote on his report that the mold was cuased by a clothes line i had in my room that drying clithes inside a house causes mold. We used that clothes for a room devider. He never asked what we use it for and theres never been wet clothes on there. Plus there was a leak on the roof a leak under the floor but he didnt say anything about that on the report. Court believed that now im out my apartment. Might have to seak legal help.

It's been several years that have past and I am finally writing a review of my horrible experience with Premier Restoration.
It's taken me this long to write a review due to my fathers lengthy illness (he has since passed)and taking care of both my elderly parents.
This company came at the recommendation of our plumber and being that I live out of town went with the recommendation. So very sorry that I did!!!
Once the company took care of the water damage, there was quite a bit of repair needed. The owner (James), said they could do all of the work. This was a relief, take care of everything at once?! I had no idea that everything from flooring install, interior painting, bathroom tile work was done by individual companies that would check back in with James. Every company that he used was horrible and the work was shotty!!! My parents house reflects the terrible work that was done! As well as unprofessional!!!

After receiving quotes and opinions from several local companies about our mold situation, James was by far the most courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful of all the experts we had consult us. As first time home buyers and new parents, we were definitely under a lot of stress but James eased our concerns and was very patient in answering all of our questions throughout the process. James was originally sent by my insurance co. CIG (who is wonderful) to my rental. James did forensics & determined the source of water damages for which I ALREADY had made a claim the previous year. The result meant the contractor did lay the floors properly and had to repair $10,000 worth of flooring again. (GREAT for me). Then my house had a water heater failure and I asked for James. James took great care of me driving a super long distance from Chula Vista to Vista and got his staff set up to do everything. He worked great with my plumber. Next day I had an allergic reaction & he got approval for hermetically sealing the area immediately approved by CIG. Reimbursement was a BREEZE (just took a snapshot of my bill pay confirmation) and my check was in the mail. Yes, he made me sign some paperwork when I was absolutely EXHAUSTED, in order to start, but that's professional. (at least he didn't try to snow me (oversell me) like the last water mitigation company. James is conservative and economical and we debated a bit, but I wanted someone who I could TRUST. His staff was AMAZING!!! Leon, Martine, Edgar and Luis. They did high quality work. I felt comfortable with them in my home (I work at home) and I felt I could trust them in my home when I had to leave town the last day of the job. James went above and beyond what the job at hand called for. I didn't feel he needed to be at my house all the time. He coordinates well with his workers. If there was concern, I called him, we negotiated the issue and he implemented it with his team, very well. I pray this doesn't happen again, but if it did, James would be first to call. It is really important to work with someone who also works well with one' insurance company - things go much smoother.

James is knowledgeable at what he does and has the patience to explain and answer questions. I agree with the other review that he did get defensive when I disagreed or questioned his scope of work. He never came to the site to check on work but Premiere Restoration Services did send us an amazing worker who did a wonderful job and had the best customer service. I have no complaints on the work that was done in the house. I also do agree with the other review that there were some math mistakes that were made, not to our favor of coarse. As pleasant as he was to start the job as we came to finishing his skills of customer care did not end well for us. He called it, ""steps he would take,"" if we did not pay...in which he unknowingly made because I had drove to his place of business the day before and delivered a cashier's check in hand to his front desk. Looking forward to being done and moving on.

No homeowner wants to go through the aggravation and expense of a flood in their home. But if you do experience this, using A Premiere's services will make the ordeal less painful.

Even though he is extremely busy, James takes a generous amount of time to provide clear explanations of the homeowner's options (insurance) and what work needs to be done to correct the situation. His is a calm, reassuring voice amidst the turmoil you are experiencing. His communication is clear and timely. His people show up when he tells you they will and they do the work necessary to get you back to ""normal"" as soon as possible. Let me tell you that this is in sharp contrast to what I experienced with a similar company 3 years ago when another property of mine had a water damage situation.
