Hired these guys when the 40 year old gate valve on the water main to my house broke. They came out about an hour later and repaired it in short order. All in all the service was very good and FAST! My only complaint was it was a little high priced for the amount of work it took. I would higher these guys again as I think the quality of work was worth it. A larger job would involve extensive negotiation.

I called A Plumbing Hero on Saturday at 3:00pm for a clogged kitchen sink, and Victor arrived at 6:00pm that same day. He was very polite and super-quick. Cost was $150, about what I expected. They also gave a 30-day warranty on their work. I will definitely use them again if I have any more plumbing issues.

I contacted them based on the 5-star rating on YELP. Sure, the customer service was top-notch and the plumbers who came got the jobs fixed, but the cost for the service was WAY higher than I would have expected. $350 to fix a p-trap and clear a clogged drain is pretty steep. They gave us a 10% discount when we complained about the cost, but they did say that that was their normal price for work.

Though it is normal to happen, a second plumber had to come the next day to redo one of the jobs as the pipe work had caused some gunk to block the pipe, but that was done quickly and at no extra charge.

So, quick and effective, but very expensive.

Let's start with the beginning ...

We had looked into several different plumbers here on Yelp, called three, and Natalia at A Plumbing Hero was the only one that actually answered the phone. She initially gave us an ETA of between 4 and 6 o'clock. Victor arrived at 5:45 and just left about 20 minutes ago (at 6:37).

Our plumbing had developed a massive clog all the way out by the street, under the house. It had caused the flushed toilet water to back up into the bath tub, and by the time Victor arrived, the water was about 3""-4"" deep.

When we asked for the quote to clear the line over the phone with Natalia, she quoted us at $149, when Victor arrived and realized he'd have to go under the house, he re-quoted us at $179. They honored the original quote, despite the extra obstacle.

We would definitely call A Plumbing Hero in the future. They certainly were our heros today.

My kitchen sewer has clog. The worker (Benito) came to do initial cleaning. Soon it turned out to be much worse than we thought . But the guy did a professional and diligent work to make it completely clean without extra charge. I'm very satisfied with their work and professional attitude.

My hero! Imagine my horror at seeing the toilet, bathroom sink, kitchen sink filled and filling up with really bad stuff and then the laundry room floor all wet, and it's 7:30 at night. I Yelped to find a plumber and found APH with 5 stars. I immediately called in a panic. The phone call was answered promptly and I was told someone would be out between 8 and 9 that same night. Amazing! Within the hour Benito arrived and took quick stock of the situation. He pointed out a leak with the toilet and snaked the blockage out for a very reasonable price, especially considering the hour and the emergency. When the blockage was much harder and further away to get to, they still honored the original estimate. Very honest, very customer service oriented. I'm so grateful for their service and for the water level returning to normal so quickly. APH: you truly are my plumbing hero!

I have used A PLUMBING HERO's services on three separate occasions in the last couple of months - a couple of times at my Mom's house and now once at my house. No one wants to need a plumber that often, but this company is a total pleasure to deal with. Prices are fair, they are punctual, extremely neat, and VERY responsive.

The work that they have done for us include: fixing a running toilet and a leak, replacing faucets (bath and kitchen), replacing a kitchen sink, and replacing a water heater.

They come prepared and are very polite and friendly. Even the young woman who handles their phones is great! Victor has handled all of my calls (with a helper on occasion) and he is the absolute best! I would not hesitate to recommend them. Great customer service!

Had these guys come out to remove and cap off some water lines under the house as part of a remodel.

They showed up when they said they would both times (the estimate and the second time for the actual job itself). They were courteous, professional, and turned the job around pretty quickly. The cost itself was also pretty reasonable and comparable to some of the other shops around town.

These guys are recommended and I would definitely use them again. Thanks :)

Victor was great and very helpful. Did not overcharge. He arrived on a Sunday at 6PM sharp and did the work needed promptly. Very sweet man and staff was also very helpful. I was in panic mode and had to shut off the watr since we couldn't turn it off. My aunts and grandparents referred him to me and I am very happt they did!

Had Joe back to install water and drain for a small sink. The price was more than I was expecting to pay but when he explained everything involved it was actually a great deal. he came back the next morning on time with two crew members and they knocked out my project, which included crawlspace and attic/roof work. Very pleased with the job!
