Called Jerry during my kitchen remodel to have a new gas line run. He answered his phone and came to make an estimate within the time frame we agreed on. He asked questions about where the gas line was to be installed and took the measurements and gave me a reasonable estimate. He sent Todd out the next day to have the work done. We have called on Jerry multiple times now to rescue us from plumbing disasters. He is quick to respond and very professional. And a really nice guy as well Our last disaster was far more complicated and yet he gathered his crew, pulled the permits and got down to fixing it within a few days. He has always managed to make sure we are not inconvenienced by the plumbing work and given that this last disaster involved the sewer main that's a real blessing! I cannot recommend Jerry enough. He is our go-to guy now for anything plumbing related and if you have even a small problem or a huge disaster you can rely on this guy to get the job done quickly and at a very fair price. If I could give him 10 stars I would!!!

We are new to the area and I called Jerry after my attempts at repairing my shower valve failed. He was at my house within an hour and got us squared away for the night. He was back the next day to complete the repair. He was professional and courteous. His rates were fair and most importantly, he was there to help when I needed him. I called Jerry late one night last spring with a serious sewage problem - he was at my house the next morning at 8:00 AM and did not leave until the job was done. He did a fantastic job and his rates were very competitive!

The reason I am writing this recommendation is last night my neighbors hot water heater started leaking I recommended she call Jerry this morning, she did and he had a new hot water heater installed by the end of the day. I wish more contractors were this consciences and did such good work at a reasonable price. I would recommend Jerry again anytime.

Jerry is always on time, courteous, honest and does great work. He was referred to us by another sub contractor and has lived up to expectations. I don't have to worry that I'm being over charged, and even if I had to pay a premium to Jerry, it's well worth it as I don't have to worry about workmanship.

I have seen Jerry around town and had some friends that used him in the past that had highly recommended his work, so when I had a small dripping problem with my toilet, I felt comfortable calling him in even though it was not a ""Big Job"". Jerry went above and beyond the call of duty and fixed the problem that had been haunting us for months.. I will use Jerry for all of my pluming needs from here on out!

Jerry helped me replace the inlet and outlet fittings on my hot water heater. The heat trap within the hot water outlet fitting was stuck, so we had low hot water pressure throughout the house.

The tank vendor, Rheem, sent me the fittings because it is still under warranty. By the way, Rheem almost has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Extremely rude. Not quite as bad as ATT though.

Jerry figured out the problem and had it fixed withing 30 minutes. He seemed very knowledgeable. Nice guy, showed up when he said he would, and had some good tips for me going forward.

He showed up at 6:30pm on a weekday, worked for about 30 - 45 minutes, and the total invoice was $145. I had never called a plumber before, so I was honestly a bit shocked by the high price. But after some research the day after, I realized that plumber's hourly rates seem expensive because they must include travel time, insurance, bonding, licensing etc etc. Overall it seems that Jerry's rates were fair, especially since he came after business hours.

The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because it would be nice if he would discuss how he gets compensated before coming out. I know I should have asked, but to get a perfect 5 stars, I think it is fair to expect a contractor to be proactive about discussing their invoicing structure/rates.

I would recommend A+ plumbing to anyone in the Clayton area, and I will use him in the future.
