We hired Ryan to install plumbing in a remodel of three bathrooms in our Lake Oswego home in mid 2018. It was a big project with a bid and confirmation of timing by Platinum Plumbing and Ryan. He routinely failed to show up and delayed our project. End result was total disaster as to plumbing.

Ryan sounds friendly but cannot keep any time commitment. Meaning if he tells you at 5 pm that he will be there at 10 am tomorrow - don't count on it.

Three bathrooms and each had a major plumbing problem caused by Ryan. He didn't install the tub drain correctly in the first bathroom - it leaked down into our living room damaging ceiling and floor. Basically he failed to place enough putty around the drain - think about wrapping play dough around a tube - he only used a little bit so water poured down on the sides where he failed to place the putty. He fixed the drain and promised to pay for the damage - but never came through. $320 documented damage to our living room ceiling and floor.

Second bathroom the cold water dripped without us using it - turns out he failed to wrap the pipe with plumbers tape. Constant drip that we could not shut off. Third bathroom was our powder room - the drain started leaking - when we pulled the cabinet out to see what was going on the entire drain pipe fell on the floor - he hadn't attached the drain to either the wall or the drain pipe out of the sink. He told us he would call about that repair - but then refused to return texts or calls. We have paid over $600 to others to fix his mistakes.

We hired Platimum Plumbing. Our experience with them was not showing up not returning calls or texts. We never knew from day to day if they would show up. Even though the job they did was acceptable there was daily stress if Ryan would show up for scheduled appointments or just leave us waiting as he didn't call he just never showed. We had to hire another Plumber to finish the job.

First, the review from Rex. S. is fake. This guy actually promises to remove your bad reviews for a few bucks in his profile.

Second: We called Platimum Plumbing and arranged for them to come out yesterday afternoon (Friday) for a leak under our kitchen sink. They enthusiastically agreed, then never showed up. Not even a phone call - thanks for wasting our Friday afternoon, bozos! We cleared out all the stuff under our sink and now it's all over the counters until we can get someone else out. We could have had someone else come out and help us with our problem without having to wait all weekend with stuff all over the kitchen.
