Good experience with this company.

I smelled gas in my house and the gas company came and shut off the gas supply after determining that there was a leak in the house somewhere.
Robert from this company came out right away and did a great job finding a huge hole in the pipe under the house and replacing the pipe.
Not sure if their prices were high or low, because I didn't call around for a lot of estimates. But Robert understood the inconvenience of being without gas and worked hard and fast to get me back up and running.
Would hire these guys again for plumbing repair.

I am so glad that I called these guys! The first plumber couldn't clear my slow kitchen drain and said I needed a ""hydro jet"" that would cost $900. I called Anaheim Pro Plumbing-A1 Plumbing and Dennis saved me! He spent extra time with the snake, found the clean out and even gave me some useful tips to prevent more mishaps. He was professional, reliable and affordable (I paid about $150) and they came within about an hour. I highly recommend them.

I woke up on a Saturday to a noise like a cement truck outside. When I figured out that it was my water heater, I waited until it cycled off and then turned it off. I called A-1 who had installed the heater less than a year before. They responded quickly. Dominic (who had installed it) came and quickly discovered that rain water had come in through the roof of the enclosure and was causing a violent vibration. I had forgotten that he had told me I needed to cover the enclosure roof when he installed the heater. (It almost never rains here.) He vacuumed up the water, covered the hole in the enclosure, and reset the controls. He and his boss decided not to charge me for a service call. I couldn't be more pleased.

Our two water heaters had exceeded their useful life leaving us with unsafe gas leaks, leaking pipes and no hot water. After researching plumbing companies that service our area, I called on three.

A-1 Plumbing was the only one that sensed the situational urgency. My first point of contact was David who then immediately connected me to one of the technicians, Dominic. Dominic communicated he was on another job and would come over when finished. He gave an estimated time of arrival and further committed to calling ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. Dominic and co-worker, Giuliano, arrived at the appointed time.

They were both friendly, polite and highly professional. Dominic assessed the situation and not only showed me the issues, but offered options and explained the pros and cons of each. Initially we chose to repair the water heaters and take the risk of near future water issues, with the intent of replacing the units later.

After discussing with our household the safest decision was to replace both units. I called Dominic a couple hours after he and Giuliano completed the repairs and had left, which was early afternoon.

In short, Dominic was proactive in acquiring the water heaters and returned that evening to install. With every job and age of home, you never know what kind of issues one can run into. There was nothing out of the ordinary however the installation took time. Another company may have taken short cuts to simply finish the job and leave. Dominic and Giuliano worked diligently into the night to complete the job correctly, which we appreciated.

Once complete, I asked Dominic if i needed to turn off the gas, alter the water temperature etc, - It's always good to know these things - Dominic and Giuliano took the time to give me and overview of how the units worked despite how tired they were.

If you are in need of plumbing assistance I HIGHLY recommend A-1 Plumbing.
Dominic and Giuliano were honest, fair with pricing, time sensitive, very professional, polite and take pride in their work and company they represent!

I woke up lastnight to a massive water leak in my home caused by a leaking pipe in the wall. I called several company's and was amazed on how no one was able to respond, I found A-1 on the internet and they answered on the first couple rings! Seeing how it was 11:30pm I was surprised but over whelmed when the office said they would have a plumber at my home with in 45 min and would be able to repair the problem the same night. Dominic the plumber was the most professional speaking, looking and knowledgable plumber I have ever encountered and I have encountered lots due to me owning rental properties. Dominic took great pride in his work and made me feel at ease during a stressful situation. Dominic not only fixed the problem but was very carful in making sure he protected my home from any further damage and even cleaned up more than expected. He had all the parts needed on his truck and I was heading back to bed in no time.. Thank you so much and it's good to know I have finally found a plumber I can trust and rely on.

Customer BEWARE!

I can't speak for every tech in the company, but MIKE is VERY dishonest. My office was having issues with the heater (it wasn't working at all). We were given the number to A-1 from the property manager and made an appointment. It took a couple days to have a tech come out and when he did, he said we had a bad main board (the computer for the unit). He said he would have to order a new one and that it would be another couple days. In most offices this probably wouldn't be that big of a deal, but we deal with the elderly and it was way too cold for them in the office. When MIKE finally returned a few days later, he changed the main board and the heater still didn't work. He finally realized that the gas wasn't even on thus, causing the heater to not work. I'm by no means knowing anything about heaters but I would think that in all professions dealing with mechanical repair, you would trouble shoot all areas before trying to diagnose the problem. My boss told him that he was crazy to think that we would pay the $750 bill with not even knowing if the heater would even work once the gas is turned on. Mike gave us total attitude stomped out to call his boss, came back in demanding a CC number. Finally my boss told him to take out new board (that he had just put in that day) and put back in the old one and once the gas is turned on we would go from there. Well, MIKE wasn't happy about it, but he switched it back because he realized that he messed up by not checking the gas line/meter to begin with.

Anyways, today (4 days later) after having the gas turned on we had a different company (IN & OUT REFRIGERATION) come out and take a look at the heater since (of course) it wasn't working. Turns out MIKE totally messed with the main board... removing key components and cutting wires all over it. The new company(Rafael) was able to order and install a new board within 2 hours!

I would definitely think twice before calling this company... seems like they pull some shady moves to try to get more money out of unsuspecting customers.

Les from F&L came out at the exact time promised and did the job for a reasonable price, and with a smile. What more could you want from a plumber???

Probably not the cheapest around, but does great work.
