Complete Rip Off! They replaced waste bend under kitchen sink. That's it. They charge ""$300 an hour"" and dragged it to close to just under an hour. Total -$500 Cash. Break down - $185 for PVC Waste Bend, $300 Labor. Wow! Would not use again ever.

This is the second time I have called Montilli Plumbing & Heating for emergency service. They are several blocks away from my home so I thought they would be more readily available since they were so close.
The first time called was 3 months ago on a Friday afternoon at 4 pm. The kitchen sink hoses/valves broke and leaked all over the kitchen. I called spoke to the dispatcher which said she would contact tech ASAP and they would get back to me. Never responded even after numerous calls back to the dispatcher, so I gave up and called another plumber. Today, Sunday my husband called the emergency line and again spoke to the dispatcher to get someone over asap because water pouring through the ceiling due to break in steam system water shut off valve. When I heard it was Montilli he called, I said to call someone else asap because they will never come! Thank God we did call another plumber because Montilli NEVER called back!
In both events, I NEVER RECEIVED a call from a Tech/Plumber!!! THEY NEVER CALLED BACK!!! NEVER AGAIN, I found a plumber in the next town over that comes ASAP. I will make sure to tell all my friends about the horrible follow-up and lack of service. They unreliable. I'm sorry I didn't read the other reviews of them prior to my call.

Reason for call: Faucet in tub leaking

1__The first thing the Tech tells me when he arrived was that I was at the end of their geographic service area, as if they were doing me a favor making this call.

2__Then the Tech gets into the tub without placing a drop cloth down. After he left, I noticed there were boot marks on the tub surface. It looked like white glue or some white adhesive. I scrubbed and soaked the area for several days, but it would not come up. I then called the office and explained the problem. No offer was made for the Tech to come back to remove the white boot marks. I was told to purchase and use Zud. Of course the Zud did not work. I now have white boot marks on the surface of my tub.

3__Today I tried to fill the bathtub with water and discovered the stopper is frozen and will not move. Apparently, when the Tech replaced the cartridge that was used to fix the leaking faucet, he did not bother to re-connect the tub stopper.

The Tech should have told me, before starting the work; the tub stopper would not work after the repair. I then could have chosen to purchase a new faucet & tub stopper (think it is called shower body). Instead, he chose not to say anything. I now have paid (they are expensive) for the repair of a leaking faucet and left with a non-functioning tub stopper.

Very dishonest. They completely lied to me on what I needed. Ripped me off thousands and refused to finish the job. Someone should shut this operation down.

Call them! Knowledgeable & honest service. Called on a Sat at 6:15. Doug arrived by 7pm. fixed my problem promptly. I have a Rohl kitchen faucet which MANY plumbers do not know how to fix. Doug had no issues with this. Plus I thought my valves were not working and he tested them and said they were. Very happy with their service.
