DO NOT HIRE HIM! He will take money from you and will not return to do the work! This man stole from 3 people that I know of and has recently been sued in small claims court by another. He is not licensed to do business nor does he have a contractors license. Residents became suspicious when it became obvious that he was leaving positive reviews for himself on 2 other social media sites and then noticed he was doing it on Yelp too ( see unrecommended reviews below). Since he has been caught he will not answer his phone, return phone calls or stolen money. He will not respond to messages and as you can see in his own hidden review of himself that he is pretending that religious beliefs are keeping him from responding. GIVE ME A BREAK! This scam artist has faked cancer, hospital stays, single father excuses, and religious beliefs among many other excuses for taking people's money. Someone even called the hospital he claimed to be in and you guessed it... no one by that name. Another person lent him some construction equipment and he refused to return it, after months of hiding out he finally had to give it back because the police intervened. Other positive reviews you see on Yelp...One from Penny L, that is his wife, complete lie. Another one by Breana...worked with his wife in a salon, and the others are suspicious too.

This man is a fraud. He is not a licensed contractor and he writes reviews for himself on Yelp and on Nextdoor under aliases. There are many social media threads in many communities in OC all complaints that he took their money and didn't do the work.

AVOID this handy man at all costs. His name is Rick London. he is a liar and con artist. he did part of a job ( which was done crooked, by the way, and he had to fix), asked for a next installment to get started on the rest of it, and that's it. he won't finish the job, he won't return any of the money which he said he would. He's basically a thief. And lie after lie; he can't even keep his lies straight. a very bad experience.

I recently hired Rick for a few very simple repairs around the house. Asked him to fix a toilet paper holder and a towel bar that were loose and falling out of the wall among other very small repairs such as installing hooks and putting up electrical outlet plates. Very easy tasks to fill his minimum 2 hour requirement.

However...just a few days later the toilet paper holder and towel bar fell out again. Rick would not respond to texts or phone calls requesting to make it right. I had to hire another handyman to fix his work and he said that Rick used the wrong kind of anchor bracket in the drywall. I'm no carpenter but that was a pretty big miss if you ask me. Even though some of the jobs were to my satisfaction, that fact that some were not done correctly at all cost me a lot of extra time and money. You should take your business elsewhere.

Please read the negative reviews about Rick London and take them seriously. I wish I had done so--hire this person at your own risk. In all my years of employing vendors I have never come across such a dishonest individual. He was hired to do a few small home repairs. During the process he broke a large window, which he promised to have repaired in a week. He took my money and several calls and texts later, I discovered he was lying about the glass repair company he said would fix it. After not returning calls over a period of a month, he had someone send a text from his phone saying he was in the hospital. All lies. The window replacement will cost me $500, which he never had any intention of paying. Do not give him your business -- there are other handymen in OC that have integrity and will do a good job for you and not cheat you.

I would not recommend using A-Men (Rick) as handyman. I requested he caulk a shower pan floor and remove fireplace logs and paint the interior of the fireplace box. He left a glob of caulking in the toilet (he states to tell me he completed the job). He got ash all over the new wood floors and travertine fireplace hearth as well as paint overspray on the mantle and fireplace travertine hearth and got ash on the new stair carpet. I had to spend $600 to have the carpet spots removed and new travertine hearth replaces, and the mantle repainted. He offered to come clean at 9pm at night or at 6pm in the evening. Completely unprofessional, messing handyman that I would never recommend.

The best handy man service possible! Rick was prompt to return my call, scheduled me as soon as possible and even provided helpful resources to alleviate the issue I was having with a malfunctioning garbage disposal. Not only was his service top notch, his knowledge, expertise, and experience sets a standard. Rick's help offered a genuine personal touch to a repair job that he fixed and saved me a lot of $$ in the process. If anything in my home goes haywire, he is going to be the first person I call. Thank you!

Rick is FANTASTIC. Our family needed some shower doors replaced, and a lock put in. He did a great job and he's a funny guy... and very knowledgeable about what he does...He also gave us some genius, but inexpensive tips to give the home more value for re-sale. As a bonus, he fixed one of our toilets for free. You are getting the expertise of a licensed contractor for the price of the average handyman...this is a no-brainer...Take the PRO.

I'm still waiting for my refund on materials deposit Rick!!!!

Filed a complaint with the state of ca contractors board for using a fake contractors license number and for stealing our money. We are new homeowners with kids on the way. How do you expect to survive by screwing new families over?????
I don't get it. Maybe this guy doesn't care about keeping a reputation for his business.
