I had the same experience as Alan S. Matt seems very pleasant at first, gives reasonable estimates, etc. Then he doesn't show up, replies to calls & emails with lots of excuses, then just doesn't contact any more. My neighbor had the same experience with him. Totally irresponsible flake, not worth trying to do business with.

Very disappointed. Matt and his son were very responsive, prompt, and pleasant when they came to my house to give us a quote on a job we needed done. Matt looked at the project and said that he could easily fix the problem. We agreed on a price and a start date 2 days later that was most convenient for his schedule. On the morning of the day he was supposed to arrive I called him to tell him that he could start earlier in the day as I was home and available, he said fine and I said ""see you soon"". After 90 min past his expected arrival date I began trying to reach him by phone and left multiple messages asking if he was still planning to show up. He never called me or showed up, he just totally flaked out on the job. When I initially called him to get an estimate I explained to him that I had bad experiences with the reliability of other workers. He assured me that he was very reliable and communicative. After my experience with him I would never recommend him.
