Heath is one of the owners with A-List Plumbing & Heating and we are thrilled to be able to find them! We've been experiencing low water pressure for several weeks now and after talking to the water company, and realizing we have a PRV, we thought the PRV was going bad and this was causing the issue. However, Heath first checked the valve to the main water line to see if there was an issue with that since he knew we were remodeling...and low and behold, the mainline water was not turned up all the way. (Contractor's fault!) I offered to pay Heath for his time coming out here and he said not to worry about it, that he was glad it was something so simple.

We have some other plumbing work that needs to be on one of our rental houses and we are definitely going to be having A-List perform that work as well. I highly recommend A-List. Heath was responsive, fair and just generally a nice guy! Thanks to Health and the A-List team for your help. it's nice to now have a plumber we can trust for any issues that may arise in our properties.

longer version
I just had a bathroom sink leak repaired today. The leak happened 2 days earlier around 1 PM and I called about 7-8 plumber businesses but no one was available to look at it same day. after some more calls I finally had a company scheduled for 4-5PM, but they later called around 3 saying they couldn't make it. After a few more calls I found another company (a major one) who said they could look at it around 5-9 PM. After waiting for an hour for them to show up, I called the dispatch again only to learn that they couldn't come out that night. It was a bummer (specially because my main shut off valve wasn't completely stemming the flow of water). but ""luckily"" I had a third company booked tentatively for the following morning. They showed up next day, after spending about half an hour looking at it, the guy tells me that he would have to cut out portion of the pipe and add an extension and new valve but he doesn't have the appropriate extension/joint for the low quality pipe I have. so he went off to get the part and gave me a ridiculous estimate which I still signed because I felt so helpless. He comes back 30 minutes later with the valve and starts looking at the leak again. after some 30 more minutes and a call with his boss he told me he couldn't actually get the job done today because my main shutoff isn't stopping all the water. he said they would first need to fix the shutoff but to be able to do that I need to call my city office and have them come over to shutoff the water to the whole building (I live in a 3-house townhome unit). and he leaves scheduling a followup appointment for next day. by this time I was super worried. luckily the city officials were super co-operative and sent a crew out to get an idea of my situation. the technician comes into my house looks at the trickle of water that kept coming in and asks ""did you try running the water spigot outside on the first floor"". obviously this sounds pretty obvious but it didn't cross my mind or the plumber's . the technician turns on the spigot and my waterflow upstairs stops, so the repair could have been done. furthermore I really didn't need the main valve fixed as well as the technician tells me I just probably needed to twist it on/off a few times for it to sit correctly.

after this experience I got really frustrated and call A-List based on a friend's suggestion. They scheduled for next day (today) and Heath came out right on time at 11. he first thought it was just an issue with the stop. so he switched out for an angle stop but after running the water for a while we noticed there was still a leak from a tiny hole in the pipe. so he had to cut out that portion of the pipe and installed the angle stop again. and at least till now (been few hours; fingers crossed) it looks like the problem is solved. after he was done with this job so quickly I asked him to change out the components of a old toilet tank as well. he readily agreed and initially told me there was a flat charge for things like that, I still agreed as I had a pretty bad experience trying to do it in another bathroom before. Heath was done with it in 20 minutes and the whole visit just lasted 1.5 hrs. He goes out to make a receipt but comes back with a pleasant surprise! he wouldn't charge me for the toilet fix (the flat charge portion of it).. Instead he just billed me for his 1.5 hrs! The price was more than reasonable. and honestly I would have happily paid that much (on top of his regular repair costs) just for how courteous and honest he was . All in all I am still in a pleasant shock at how well it went with Heath and A-List. If he wanted he could've easily milked me for some serious money as I was already in a panic after the events of the last two days. but he was such a nice honest gentleman. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. obviously I have to wait a few days/weeks to really vet that the fix made stood the test of time but at least know that you wouldn't be cheated out of money!

Luckily these guys (Heath) is located not too far away from my home. I was having a really hard time with a flange install that was going into concrete.. I spent a few hours screwing with it before looking for a plumber.

Heath was out to my place the next day, right on the dot. I figured I'd be paying for at least 3 hours of work.. He was done with the flange fix, and toilet install in 55 minutes. After that I had him look at my sink drain install which was leaking. He cut the existing all out and fitted it the right way with minimal turns. It's been almost two weeks now, zero problems..

Also gave me a quick quote on some work I want done in the other bathrooms.. all in all, he was here for a bit over 2 hours and even gave me a deal on the labor.

I've done floors, electrical, painting, roofing, landscaping, drywall, etc.. I always have problems with plumbing. Definitely calling them back and I've recommended them to a few of my friends now as well.

Had a great experience with Heath from A-List plumbing. They were able to squeeze me in the same day I called. Heath was able to make the fixes needed quickly and also took the time to educate me on some questions I had regarding other plumbing related topics I had. I can't say enough positive things about Heath! He's fast, knowledgeable, highly-skilled, polite, and completely fairly priced just to name some. My wife and I purchased a new home and quickly found out our kitchen sink didn't drain properly. After calling Heath he was able to come out the next day to diagnose the problem and fix some smaller issues, then came back the very next day to replace a big piece of clogged cast-iron pipe, all for considerably less than I thought it would cost. He was even super nice to the Furnace repair guy who he had to work around.

While I don't want to have to call Heath again, I'm MORE than happy to should have any kind of plumbing question or need in the future!
