I simply cannot compliment A.J. Stimmler & Son Air Conditioning enough. This is a top notch firm. Mr. Stimmler (father) came to my house at night while he was still recovering from knee replacement surgery. He has since come other times for needed help. I received estimates from 4 companies to install a soft water system. It was obvious from A.J. Stimmler's bid of $1,000 that they did not want the job. The other estimates ranged from $300 - $400.

When AJ Jr. showed up, we told him we needed new units, and he had every opportunity to sell us a brand new system to replace our 22 year old units. He didn't do that. AJ Jr. figured out why the unit wasn't blowing and fixed it inexpensively. I also asked him to look at my sewing room b/c it stays hot all summer. After having several technicians look at the room every summer, AJ finally figured out what was wrong and he fixed it---again inexpensively!

AJ came to us highly recommended, and we know why. They are very knowledgeable and try to find the most economical fix. AJ Jr. seemed like he really enjoys his job and enjoys helping people.

When our 22 year old units finally give out, we will be calling them to upgrade our whole system.

Three years and one move after my last review and this company still gets 5 stars. We eventually replaced an air conditioner at our last house and were very pleased with the service (and there was also a significant dip in our electric bill). Then we moved and replaced an air conditioner in our new house and were equally pleased with the service. We highly recommend the Stimmlers for HVAC maintenance and new installs.

Our AC broke down and it was 110 degrees. Our home warranty company couldn't get to us for several days so they said we could find someone and they would reimburse us. We received same day service and the man who fixed our unit was very nice and explained what was wrong. The price was very reasonable and I would definitely use them again. They were very easy to contact and returned calls in a timely manner. Fantastic job!!!!

I had a problem with a furnace at a rental unit. He was flexible, understanding when I was a little late to meet him, so polite and friendly and above all very knowledgeable and genuine. You could tell he had a lot of experience and explained the issues clearly. Seemed very trustworthy. I never felt like I was treated like just a number or a service call. Highly highly recommend! I have dealt with a lot of ac and heating companies and he is top of my list. Thank you!

6/13/2012 - If you want an honest, reliable, quality plumber/ AC man, these are the guys. I have been using them for over five years, and every repair they have made has been perfection. I had a plumbing need in 2006, and a major Valley plumber quoted me $2500. It seemed extreme, so I sought referrals from friends, and I found AJ Stimmler & Son. They did the exact same job for $150...I have been using them ever since. They are a small family plumber, that you can really trust. They don't use gimmicks...they don't have an entire plumbing supply company on their trucks and they don't pay you if they are 1 minute late. They simply rely on good old fashion quality, honest workmanship. I would highly recommend them for either AC or plumbing needs.

6/28/2017 - I just wanted to update this review since its been over 5 years. Since we first met and started working with AJ Stimmler and Son, what is now 11+ years, my impression of them has only improved. I have referred them to many friends and family over the years, and never once has anyone had anything but positive feedback. I still highly recommend.
