Wow. Don't understand all the negative reviews. After accepting many unacceptable, unsignable estimates for major sewer repair, recently (April 2020) hired A&J for a large/complex commercial sewer replacement/relining. Let me cut right to the point when I say that Armando is ""The Guy"" to call for sewer line repairs/restoration (and probably anything to do with plumbing). The man is a Professional, and he treats people right...a class-act. The same can be said for his entire crew. I say this having never met them before needing a sewer repair.
One thing to keep in mind, while they do clear drains, and do every sort of plumbing, this is not the ""guy in a van with a couple of drain snakes"" that you call to get a clog cleared, to get you by for maybe a year or so, until you need to have it re-snaked. This is the company you call to FIX your drain, so that you will never have to worry about it again. This is who you call when it's finally time to DO IT RIGHT, and DO IT FINAL. ...And this is who your regular plumber calls to fix your sewer when the job far exceeds his abilities. Your average plumber/rooter doesn't have even CLOSE to the equipment/expertise this company has. Is this expensive? Well, its never going to be cheap, A&J was not the lowest quote (generally the lowest quote is usually not the best value, and ends up costing a lot more in the end), but also was not the highest, and at the end of the project, A&J provided the most REALISTIC quote and the GREATEST VALUE.
Armando and his crew installed both PIPE BURST and PIPE RELINING on my commercial property, with minimal digging of trenches. The concrete patchwork was done Very well. They were completely transparent, accessible, dependable, professional, and stayed on the job until completed. I have a brand new sewer system, and will never need another rooter in my lifetime.

I received a coupon in the valpak and decided to give Armando a call in regards to a backup toilet. He sounded professional on the phone. I clearly asked him if I could use a coupon for $35 to ""unclog any drain"" as their coupon stated and he said yes and gave me an time frame for the next day from 2-6. He never showed up and didn't call. I am also a business owner so I understand that things come up so I tried him back for 2 days and he never replied. My gut feeling was that he never came or responded because he had no intention of honoring the coupon. In either case, if the job would have been more at least I would have had an option of choosing to do the work He lost a client and any recommendations I would have given him. His coupons are a bait and switch tactic. so glad I asked him before he came out otherwise, I could have been a victim like some of the other reviews.

These guys are a bunch of aholes. I took off work waiting for them on a Tuesday. They call me Tuesday morning with several excuses of why they couldn't make the appointment. So they rescheduled for Friday. I get a text Thursday evening saying they are too busy and to find another plumber.

I have to give one star it is making me! This guy armondo is a crook ! He and his 4 buddies snaked a toilet and replaced an 8.00 water value and charged my 87 year old grandma 800.00 he was there for 20 minutes! When I told him he didn't have permission since I am the manager of the property and to stop the work ..he said too late he did the work and that he gave my grandma a minute to think about it!!! I told him that shouldn't have costed more than 150.00 at most that I was married to a plumber and I know ! He hung up quickly and took 800.00 cash from my grandma! All of his information is fake on his receipt from p o box to the phn number and the website all fake!! I bet his license is fake as well!! I am reporting him to the better business bureau and calling on his license. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!

There running a scam
""They told me they need to dig up my sewer and replace it."" I've lost track of how many times I've gone through this with a homeowner, but it must have been scores. Ninety percent of the time I've found it to be a scam. THIS IS WHAT THE TECH TOLD ME!
Mr. This line just needs replaced. You got roots coming in everywhere and it's just going to get worse. It's breaking, it's sinking down. I mean, my God, it's sixty years old. Every time we come out it's costing you $200. You'd just as well as to go ahead on and replace it now and cut your losses. This cost seventy two fifty, but we're slow this week and I know I can talk the boss down to sixty five hundred if you'll do it this week. And we even give a senior discount on top of that. SCAM! there was nothing wrong with my sewer line. They also broke pipes under my house so that they could get a job done.

Great service great price. Carlos was timely clean and professional. Even replace a of couple pipes now I don't have to worry about it for a long time.

Called this guys off out of the Pennysaver. They were a joke. they were not busy, came right out and told me that they would have to put cameras down my drains and charge me 500 dollars for looking for the problem. the guy ""Juan"" was not professional.

After that terrible experience, I called my normal plumber that I have hired before. He was not available that day but he came out the next day and unlogged the kitchen drain for $40.00.

Beware of this scam business!

NO STAR! Very unprofessional!! I called for service & the guy who answered the phone scheduled me for service the next morning...we wasted our morning waiting for the plumber, we made quite a few attempts to call the # that was in the pennysaver ad & an emergency # that was for a guy named Carlos. No response back from either person...& very disappointing was NO SHOW! My family wasted quality time waiting for their service yet we couldn't get the service or yet get in contact with ANYONE! Very upset prego mother! I then had to call another plumber who was not available until a few hours later....at least they showed up to help me. That's what you call a professional plumber, not a company who doesn't show up for a scheduled service or doesn't return any phone calls!

The service guy Armando is extremely unethical. He knew I was in a desparate situation of water back up in the restroom downstairs, and the tenants had to move to a hotel. He quote $975 + $450 camera, initially, and he immediately add $4500 to original quote to repiping because he claimed just by jetting maynot solve the problem, and rushed me to sign a contract. I ended up call another plumber for $284 to solve all the sewer drain issue and leakage from shower. So this guy is a big liar. I will report him to Contractor board
