Not Recommended..went with $89 special check of my furnace and the technician was nice guy but like other commenters, he tried to ""scare"" into getting unnecessary service. Leak on side AJ Perri quote $383..part on Amazon $24. Induction motor needs replacement, AJ Perri quote $1250 on Amazon part was $75..part didn't need replacement. I have Worry-Free service so part was replaced for ""free"". They try to scare you..I wasn't. They seem professional and put on shoe covers entering house, calls to let you know tech is coming, etc. Don't be bamboozled.

I paid the $50 trip fee for an estimate on a gas line. Perri's bid was $1500 higher than the nearest bid. I called their office to negotiate the price. It came down but was still $356 too high and involved a ""service partner"" agreement. I asked why they could not meet a competitive price. I was told that Perri is so big that their overhead is higher than other plumbing outfits. Folks, maybe I've got it backward, but I learned that when you are the biggest company your overhead costs are lower than your competitors, not higher, which is one reason why Walmart can charge less than a mom and pop store. I feel like AJ Perri wasted my time and I wasted $50.

Plumbers are good. The sales rep was a crook, suggesting an expensive repair that was unnecessary. Get a second or third opinion.

Terrible customer service. Overpriced. Unreliable. Original plumber that came to fix a dripping shower facet ended up damaging the facet more. The second plumber that came (Craig) was incredibly unprofessional and blamed us for the facet being damaged more. I immediately took a photo of his business card that he gave us, which lead him to be really rude and question what I was doing. Would never use or recommend the services of A.J. Perri.

They have the worst customer service. Had to wait over 2 weeks for them to come service our furnace that we couldn't get to work until they came out to service it. We were freezing in our apartment. Could not get a person over because they claimed that they were short staffed. They kept changing our service date and even when they rescheduled the date to an earlier time, they didn't show up! Don't use them! They are terrible! Liars!!! I would give them less than a star if I could. I tried to review them on their website, but it seems that you can only leave a review for them if it's going to be a favorable one! Never going to happen!

Please give this company no stars. Even though our free cleaning appt. was scheduled the day after the storm on Nov.15th, we were told they would arrive between 8am and 1pm. A man finally showed at 3:15, saying he just got a call. When I called to find out where the serviceman was, I was lied to, told telephone poles were knocked down, and the second time I called I was told there was heavy traffic. They are unethical and don't deserve your business. They are not even considerate enough to give me a call. Not to mention the ""chemical cleaning"" they did caused our furnace to sound like a drumming band because they did not tell us to bleed the lines and didn't do it themselves. My husband got on the phone with a supervisor to ask him about what could cause our problems-the supervisor wanted to send out a truck. We said no, just tell us what we could try. My husband is no fool and knows how to talk to these guys. They are the worst........avoid at all costs.

Our exprience with AJ Perri tech Rob. Water was leaking from around the toilet in our basement bathroom. We call AJ Perri and told them what the problem was and if they could give us a estimate to repair. They told us yes bus this would be a service charge of $50.00 to send a technician to access the problem and give us a estimate on the repair. We made the appointment Thursday and the tech came out Friday. After accessing the problem the technician said it would be $1900.00 to repair and the cabinets would need to broken up in order to complete the pipe work. He also stated the pipe work alone would be about 1 hour to complete. I asked is this a hourly rate or a flat rate? I was told the price was calculated out of a rate book and there was no hourly rate. So we declined service for $1900.00. Rob couldn't provide how many hour this job would take other then it was a all day job and additionally our kitchen cabinets would be broken to reach the pipe. The next day we attempted to fix this problem ourself. We made a small hole in our bathroom wall since the water was coming from the wall. We seen the kitchen pipe rotted and was leaking into the wall. We took pictures and went to Home depot. We purchased 1.5 inch pvc, couplings, elbow, 2"" reducer to 1.5 inch and pvc glue. This job took us 2 hours to complete. I would've easily paid AJ Pierre $1000.00 but thank God they tried to RIP me off and force us to do this ourselves. With no experience this was a 3 hour job.. Shame on this company for trying to take advantage of customers. By the way this job cost us $136 dollars.

I moved into my town home about a year ago and was told at the time I bought the place by the inspector that my furnace would have to be replaced b/c it was so old (almost 30yrs). Also my hot water heater and a/c were also due b/c of their age (25yrs). So I had the whole system done b/c I did not want to deal with high bills and wait for the furnace, hot water or a/c to go...I did the bundle package, they have 10yr warranty on parts and labor. And they put in Carrier products and yes they are probably a bit pricey but I was very satisfy and he guys that came to install were very professional and on time. They did a great job of installing and did not leave a mess, you wouldn't even know they were there and my system runs so quietly now I don't even know it's on. The system came with a Nest system which I can control my heating and a/c remotely. So I was a satisfy customer and very surprise by the negative reviews.

The repair process was good and the technician worked neat and clean. The pricing was VERY expensive compared to other quotes and I only has the work performed because I was already on the hook for the $50 fee the charge for estimates. In a pinch or emergency I am sure they perform the repairs in a very timely manner but beware of pricing before calling.
