I had a new unit installed by AJ Michael's 2-3 years ago. They took down my enclosement to get to the unit (or so they said) and never put it back or did anything . I should have complained immediately I am almost never in the back so it didn't bother me until I saw it again I called them again and they kept their word and removed the wood today. I probably still wouldn't use them again since they probably didn't need to remove the enclosure but updated since they kept their word

Saturday afternoon: Notice a leak in the basement of a property I manage. Called A.J. Michaels and scheduled an appointment for Monday. Was called day of asking if they could come early. You bet! Technician Brian (great guy) showed up and located a leak coming from the cast iron stack. He called the office and set a same day appointment for an estimator (Chris) who arrived on time (with a pre-call to say he was on his way). He assessed the job, wrote up the estimate and left with no hard sell (I had to check with property owner). I got the okay and Chris came to my home to pick up the signed paperwork and deposit check. 40 minutes later, a plumber friend finally gets back with me saying he could do the job ASAP. I immediately called Chris who didn't hesitate when I asked if I could back out of the contract, ""sure, no problem."" Days later, the voided check and estimate were delivered by mail.

In today's climate of ""screw the customer at any cost"", it is refreshing to find a company with integrity. I've used AJM in the past and will use them again . . . if my friend isn't available, that is. :o)

I signed a service agreement with this company to perform Fall and Spring maintenance on my A/C unit at my house and a rental property. The first Fall visist went relatively smoothly, even though I had to reschedule one of the visits because they had overbooked. Spring came and went and they never followed up to schedule my Spring maintenance. After calling and leaving messages and sending emails in July and speaking with some very rude people in the service department, I finally connected with the person who set up my account. She argued with me for several minutes, was generally rude, and initially refused to refund half of money for only performing only half of the promised service. Only after we argued for several minutes did she relent and said that she would refund half of my money ""just to get this over with."" I will never use A.J. Michael again and will never recommend them to anyone - not because of their service but because of their POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Horrible customer service. I had an entire heat pump system put in 11 years ago. The compressor died last year. The technician came out and suggested replacing the compressor and that it would last about five years. The cost of the compressor and installation was almost $2000. Less than a year later, the new compressor died. It took A.J. Michaels almost a week to come out to tell us the new compressor died and had the gall to charge $99 for the visit. They then informed me that the compressor was only on a 30 day warranty. This was never presented in any paperwork that I was given. I was told that I would need an entire new system and the most they could do was give me a $320 credit. I spoke to a rude and condescending manager named Jim who gave me a lengthy explanation about why he didn't need customers like me and that $320 was all he would do for me. Needless to say, I filed a complaint with the BBB and went with a different company that fully backs their work.

I had AJ Michaels come and service my boiler and also come and fix my drain in my bath tub since it was not draining. These guys rock! I love them! They were early both times and fixed both things really well! I pretty much rely on these guys whenever I need something done! Love them!

Two great experiences with AJ Michaels. We had issues with our older furnace both last year and this winter. Both times the men who came were quick, to the point and professional. The repairs were minor and they only charged the fee to come to the home. It was a good experience to trust a company not to jack up the price for an easy fix.

When I called for an appointment I was told I could getr a firm work date a week away. Since I have renters who would need to be there when the technician arrived, I took the week out option over getting on a standby list. The appointment day came and went with no technician. When I called the next day, they said the tech would be there in an hour. BUT NOBODY'S HOME! They were there yesterday! When I called for an explanation and telling them we never so much as recieved a courtesy call, I got nothing. Zip. So if you don't mind being stood up for appointments, choose these guys!

Waste of money!!! I called to schedule an a/c leak detection in my central air line, because I just had it charged 4 weeks prior and now blowing hot air (so I know there is a leak...and it's getting bigger). I explained all of this and the service needed to be completed, so today they charge me $100 for a service evaluation to tell me there is a possible leak!!! They cannot come back for 2 weeks to conduct the detection and it's going to cost $580. Then they would have to come back for any repairs...who knows when? My unit is under warranty, however they are not a carrier of this product and will have to charge me full price and I will have to deal with the carrier for my warranty??? Is this a joke? Please learn from my mistake.....
