Do not let these people in to your home! Incompetent and unprofessional.

They were sent by Old Republic home protection (They contract the cheapest and worst service providers. Do not buy Old Republic home protection.) to fix my shower leak.

After two attempts and 3 months, they not only NOT fix the problem, they made it MUCH WORSE then before.

After spending good 35 mins. trying to fix the problem, the technician made it so much worse that I couldn't even turn or off my faucets afterwards. When I asked him to explain why it is worse after he ""fixed"", instead of explaining, he got defensive and started to raise his voice and then cussed. He was beyond unprofessional. I felt threatened when he was storming in and out of my home.

When I called their office to complain, the guy who answered the phone wasn't any more professional.

Bottom line: Stay away from these guys.

My insurance company Fidelity, assigned A.J. Bono Plumbing to fix my plumbing issue. I immediately went into YELP to read the reviews and I was very concerned and even thought about calling back to request another company but didn't. Two hours later I received a call and they set up a time on Monday between 4pm-6pm I was working from home so they called around 1:00pm and said they had a cancellation and asked if they can come early. I agreed, and they were both real nice guys. Miguel found out the issue in a matter of minutes and took care of everything within 20 minutes. They took the time to show me the issue and bad parts that went bad and replaced everything . He went over the paperwork to explain how the warranty works etc and shook my hand. It was a great experience and I would most definitely have them come back in the future if I had other issues.

I was very pleased! They were on time, polite and fixed my problem quickly. They even fixed a clogged drain for free. I would use them again without hesitation.

I have Fidelity National Home Warranty company. Over the last 3 yrs I have had a few plumbing issues. The latest, a leaking water heater. Each and every time I had nothing but on time, professional, courteous work done by A J Bono Plumbing.

AJ Bono was assigned to me from my Fidelity home warranty for a leaking water heater. I wish I would have read their reviews first. They are supposed to call you 30 mins prior to arrival and they did not, they just showed up. They were unable to perform any repairs because my water heater needed to be replaced rather than fixed. We had to ask for a detailed estimate for the work that was going to be performed and when I received it, it was typed into the body of an email - it might as well have been handwritten. They came back the next day to replace the water heater and brought the wrong size. They had to go to Home Depot to exchange and came back with the wrong size AGAIN. They went to Lowes this time and they didn't have what they needed - leaving me with no hot water because they disassembled the old water heater prior to having the correct one. Day three...they showed up without calling and were an hour and a half late, therefore having to cancel my plans for the 4th of July weekend. Save yourself the stress and anger. Don't use AJ Bono. I hope the quality of the work isn't least good and lasting.

do not let these guys in your home. The word professionalism doesn't exist in their vocabulary. Have no idea about basic plumbing requirements.

RUN AS FAST AS U CAN AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS. DO NOT let your warranty company use them or you will regret it and will soon find yourself on this site, too late, reading the horrific accounts of these jokers.

Called out six times and still could not fix a leaking toilet. I will be taking them to small claims court to receive the 250.00 they charged me last Friday(the 19th of April 13).

They are to be avoided AT ALL COSTS! or you will pay for a service they cannot provide. Absolutely unqualified people. Watch out for them. There support staff are well trained in turning the table on you. When there done with you one feels guilty for having a leak.

Once there done with you and still have not fixed the problem they just refuse to callback. They challenge you to take it further.

Why Fidelity Home has them on their recommended vendor list is beyond me. They obviously don't check Yelp.

I am also complaining to the state of California CLB for corrupt practices, inability to hire people who know what there doing and causing great amount of time and wasted time.

We used them to install a faucet in our kitchen. The faucet was installed wrong so it would spray water all over the place. When my wife pointed it out to the technician who was aware of it, he blamed the faucet! and said you need to take it up with the manufacturer so my wife paid them and they left but they took the original box of the faucet. we called them right the way to bring back the box and no return call. I called the store and complained so they sent the same technician back and he said there was nothing he could do and when I asked him why he took the box if in fact there was a fault with the manufacturer he told me that my wife had asked him to take it. I hate it when people lie to your face! so I called to speak with the General Manager and he would never return my calls, we complained to the BBB and to my surprise their story changed and a supervisor wrote back that ""they never took the manufacturer's box"" well, which lie do we listen to? the technician told me that he took the box because my wife told him to take it and his supervisor claims that they never took the box!! why would I waste my time and write to BBB or post on Yelp for the first time in my life? I just want the box back so I can take it back to the store I bought it from. it's real simple these people are very dishonest. RUN from them and if your Home Warranty wants to have these people come to fix your plumbing DECLINE them.

After reading the other reviews I just had to laugh. The service guys were cool but the job they did was not cool. They did not fix the problem and when I called them to come back out to fix it again Jenifer had a real smart mouth on her and made me call the warranty company. Long story short Old Republic Warranty company will not get my business and that plumbing company is the worst. The technicians couldnt fix a simple problem and Jenifer is the worst customer service person I have ever dealt with. She has no respect for you and it sounded like she enjoyed telling me that no one in her company could fix my leaks! UNBELEIVEABLE!

I would give this company zero stars, if that was an option.
A plumber came out to fix a leaky toilet at the behest of our insurance company. He asked if he could cut a hole in our ceiling (below the bathroom, where the toilet was leaking) to identify the leak if ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. Turns out, he cut the hole in our ceiling BEFORE identifying the source of the leak (a broken wax seal ring around the toilet, which is a very simple job requiring no tunneling through our ceiling)... then tried to backtrack to tell me that it was standard procedure. Completely incompetent, and now I'm fighting with our terrible insurance company to have someone come out to finish patching/painting our ceiling.
