We had a stopped up toilet that was gurgling in the sink and tub, after calling A Hampton Roads Plumbing, scheduled an appointment. They arrived on time and wore masks around us. These guys within a few minutes were able to pin-point the problem and resolve our issue. We were so pleased with their service and clean up. If you have issues please call A Hampton Roads Plumbing!

A solo plumber recommended A-Hampton Roads Plumbing to me, and they came several times when my sewer pipe kept getting blocked (mid-January 2021-mid-February). They finally used their camera and discovered that the old cast iron pipe was disintegrating and needed to be replaced. Because they had diagnosed the issue and had not charged me extra for the trips they made to jet out my line, they were the first company I asked for an estimate. The dispatcher said someone would be out that Friday (no one came), then on Monday, but no one ever showed up and no one ever called me back.

When sewage came up into my shower the fourth time, I called, and the after-hours person told me she'd have the emergency on-call plumber call me. No call back. I gave up trying to reach them because I had an emergency on my hands and they were not responsive.

This company has some great plumbers, but communications from the front office is abysmal. For this reason, I cannot recommend them. I hope they'll remedy this problem. Good communications is the hallmark of any good business.

I called this company at least 5 days before my appointment was booked to have our water pressure in our kitchen checked. I was told a plumber from this company would be at my home on a specific date and time and the fee policy was explained. I agreed and rushed home on that date so that I would be here to let the plumber in. He/she was a no-show and there was no call explaining why. It is not my responsibility to follow up on contractors but I can only imagine this company's customer service or lack there of speaks volumes about its professionalism.

The were sent to us by our warranty company paid from our power bill to replace a bad water heater. They came on Friday night to assess the situation, replaced the water heater on Monday morning. Excellent job, very professional, timely, and courteous. I had totally the opposite experience from the previous review. Good job!

I normally don't review, well never review but I was extremely unhappy with my experience with this company. I own rentals in the NN area and have utilized the service before without any issues. I called for a leaking sink-but this time the service tech replaced the garbage disposal without my authorization. ($250 total) When I called to tell them I didn't authorize the repair they told me that it would cost an additional $125 for them to come and remove the unauthorized replacement. I wasn't looking to be relieved of my entire bill, I understand services were rendered. A little consideration would've been nice and a response to ensure it wouldn't happen again. Rental property owners beware, they don't call for authorizations. 2 stars only bc everything is fixed and working. Customer service really needs fixing.
