Spent two minutes in my apartment, told me that nothing could be done until I purchase new appliances for $800 and left with my $96 ""call fees"". Later I've called a supper from a nearby building and he fixed the issue for less than their ""call fees"".

Jose from A Good Plumber and his partner were very professional and knowledgeable. They went far and beyond their commitment, gave me their advice. Jose pointed out areas in my basement that needed attention. I felt like they were expensive but I got quality work and I from now on I won't call anyone else. I will rely solely on A Good Plumber.

Outrageously high pricing. $1400 for a gooseneck faucet (not solid gold)-$4500 for 6 hours work to replace a main drainpipe and add shutoff valves. Highway robbery. Felt pressured to have job done because of a leak under sink. Never ever again.

Warren and his team did a great job, but they need weekend appointments (not just for emergency). I had to take off from work to get my boiler serviced, also they are a little bit pricey, otherwise I was satisfied with the quality of work.

Ok, I'm very late writing this review! But, I must say I was very impressed with the service from A Good Plumber. Last year, I had a terrible leak at one of my properties. Each time it rained, there would be water that trickled into basement. I worked with at least 3 other plumbers to try and identify and fix the problem. My husband found A Good Plumber (I don't know how), made an appointment and they fixed the issue. A few months later, the owner called us to check the status of the job (who does that anymore? such wonderful customer service) and made a few tweaks for further improvement. I had the pleasure of meeting him at my property and he wonderfully dropped me off to a train station line that was closer to my final destination (at least 15m away driving) because it was cold outside. Other small, but big thing he did: he wore these like shoe cover things over his shoes in an effort to not track dirt into my tenant's apartment.

Great service, overall.

A good plumber is an excellent plumbing repair company. From diagnostics to completion they are on top of everything.

Staff members are courteous knowledgeable and most important professional.

I have been doing business with Warren and his staff for over 30 years. When I have a plumbing problem they are my go to plumbers. I know my job will be handled professionally and there will be no issues with the repair. You can not ask for more in today's market.

Had a 13-month old Delta Touch2O kitchen faucet that slowed to almost no flow. My contractor who installed it looked at it twice, tinkered with the cartridge (disassembled it -- big mistake) and put me off about fixing it. I ordered parts from Delta -- a new cartridge and a solenoid kit -- under warranty.

I came to Yelp and found A Good Plumber.

Warren, the company owner, was assigned to my case, being one of a few familiar with the Touch2O faucets.

Very professional.

He arrived on time. Put on booties outside so as not to drag anything in on the carpet (I once had an electrician do the same). Though I had an exploded diagram of the faucet on the counter, Warren didn't need it. He had studied beforehand and was familiar.

In fifteen minutes or so, he replaced the solenoid and battery pack and the faucet was operating again.

Finally, he cleaned out some debris under the sink, and was done. I would never have expected anyone to clean under the sink!

The total cost was reasonable, including the upfront charge.

All told, I couldn't be happier. Reliable. Skilled and, now, highly recommended!

These guys are the best! They have done plumbing for me several times in different areas of my two family house and have always done a great job. Not only that but they are sooo nice and friendly. I get a fabulous job and nice people. Don't call anyone else.

They were on time, communicated wonderfully with us, did the work they agreed to and did it in the most professional way. Did major repairs to sink in commercial bar area in Off-Off Bway theater to bring it up to code. Would definitely work with them again.

update- to the company's credit they did call me today (10/22) to apologize. The caller claimed I spoke to service not the office and there was a problem in getting the call. After reading my review they tracked down the call. I appreciate the outreach but don't expect to use this service.,
