Stay away. Owner refused to talk to me.

FIND ANOTHER COMPANY Brand new $7,000.00 septic pump installed less than 18 months ago by A-General. Needed emergency service. They gave me the run around for 48 hours. They kept saying they were coming and never came. What a disaster! There are many good plumbers available; avail yourself of another plumber and not this one.

NO SHOW..read reviews they leave you hanging all day and don't show up I'm filling a report with BBB . I lost 6 hours of wages now I have to start all over. they came last week called my downstairs neighbor for a possible leak overcharged me 500 my copy of boos not legible nothing is broken down and per my downst neighbor something is still leaking. DONt call them the gals answering the phones are LIAERS

We do not recommend using A-General for any of your plumbing needs. They are unreliable and overpriced. We had flooding on a Sunday night that resulted in 3-4 feet of water in our crawl space, which damaged our hot water heater. When we discovered the flooding, we had A-General come out to help remove the water, which they eventually did that afternoon and we requested that they come out the next day to assess the damage to the hot water heater and to get us a replacement estimate that we could provide to our insurance adjuster.

The issues with them began the next day when no one ended showing up despite us calling to confirm someone was coming. On Wednesday someone came out to take a look and he said he would get us our estimate later that day. We never got it and meanwhile our insurance adjuster is waiting to process our claim.

Finally, on thursday we get an estimate, but it wasn't legible and required a fix, so we called A-General multiple times throughout the day to request a typed, corrected estimate. Finally, Friday morning Adriana with A-General sent a typed up estimate, but it still wasn't the corrected one so I emailed them back 18 minutes later and then called right after to request a corrected estimate, which we needed to submit to our insurance adjuster by the end of the day. We called more than 3 times and were continuously given the ""don't worry we'll get it to you shortly."" We never got the correct estimate so we called at 6:30pm and the lady who answered told us Adriana was now on vacation and she asked to once again take down our info to try and fix our situation (but never ended up calling us back.) 17 days since the flooding incident and we have still not heard from A-General.

Fortunately, after already waiting those 6 days (and still no hot water), we wised up and called another plumber on that Friday night, which responded Saturday morning. They had a person out that same afternoon to inspect and gave us a correct estimate 10 minutes after the visit, which was $4000 cheaper than what A-General quoted us. Don't waste your time with A-General for any of your plumbing needs, especially emergencies. Would give them 0 stars if I could.

I had a leaky relief valve on my hot water heater. I called, on a Friday evening, A-General and they dispatch Kevin first thing Saturday morning. Kevin quickly diagnosed that my water heater was working properly and all I needed was a new relief valve. I would say that I concerned choosing someone from the web but at the end of the repair, I felt very comfortable that Kevin treated my repair as if he was fixing it in his house. I would definitely use A-General if I have future plumbing issues.

My toilet overflowed and Laurel Gardens called A General. A man named Jay came and destroyed my bathroom. He annihilated my toilet, ruined my white grout,put the toilet in my shower leaving feces and toilet paper on my shower floor, sealed the toilet with yellow wax looks like urine, tracked the wax onto my hardwood floor taking the finish off. My bathroom is 3 years old. I do NOT recommend this business.

We were redoing our master bath when our only other shower leaked from the second floor onto the first. Alfie came out within two hours of me calling on a Friday. Other places couldn't come out until the following Tuesday. It was a simple stupid fix, which scarily enough the people redoing our master couldn't diagnose. I was just grateful for fast friendly service.

I made an appointment with them 8 days in advance. Today they were supposed to come and by 3:00 PM I still never heard from them. I called at 3:00 and spoke to Jessica who confirmed that I am on the schedule for today and that they were currently working in my area. They never did show up or even have the decency to call. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE CLOWNS.

A General who is our family plumbMing service sent Joe out today to address a leak in my family room ceiling. Joe diagnosed the leak , repaired, sealed my toilet and cleaned up the mess. He was so professional, an expert plumber. A-General is a family operated
business who always remedies the problem.
