I called them out for a backed up drain. They were a little late arriving. When they determined they'd have to go on the roof to main clean out I wasn't told that it would affect the price. They even had to use my ladder to get up there. From arrival to departure they were here 45 minutes and all they had to use was a heavy duty snake.

After they left, I received a bill later in the day for double what I was quoted simply because they had to go on the roof.

Not cool. Wouldn't use them again.

Mike replied quickly, arrived early (it was urgent), repaired the issue, and offered great advice for future use...all at an affordable price. I could not recommend him enough!!!

At 5am woke up to no water, called BexarMet they came out by 7-7:30am and said it was a leak on our side of the meter. Called several different plumbers and they gave me high quotes or couldn't get out until tomorrow or both. Called A G Plumbing spoke to Mike and it felt like I was talking to a regular guy, they told me there was an opening afternoon; I told him we didn't have water so he said he'd stop by my house between 9-9:30am after he got all the guys started... he arrived at about 9:15am so perfect timing especially for fitting me in. He got right to work and had us up and running by 11:30am-11:45am in the freezing cold. Then the bill came to $50 less then is rough estimate because it wasn't as bad as he thought it might be. Reasonable hourly and material cost; I worked in construction for 15 years before moving to San Antonio and know what the bill should be. A G Plumbing does quality work at reasonable prices which is hard to find these days! And at the end of it all I find our Mike is the owner and did the repair since I was without water and all his workers had other appointments and jobs to do; I was hoping to find a reliable good plumber in San Antonio and today I did!
