I called to get a quote or someone to come out to quote. I described the installation I wanted done and they did not understand me. I told them I wanted to switch out and unthreaded pipe with threaded pipe and have a tub spout installed. They wanted me to submit pictures via text. I guess they have never seen an unthreaded cooper pipe coming out of wall before because that is what they wanted a picture of. That made me have no confidence in them so I decided to call someone else.

We had A-formidable plumbing come to our home to install new fixtures in our quartz countertop in the kitchen and repair a small leak behind drywall in an upstairs wall next to a bathroom. Mike (the plumber assigned to our project) was professional, friendly and reasonably-priced. All work and cleanup was done to our full satisfaction. Highly recommended and reputable - and very pleasant to work with!

We had an emergency where we could not use any water in our house. With a baby at home and no relatives close by that we could stay with, Mike and John were at our house by 11am the next day and fixed our issue.

I will start by saying that the work looks good. Now having said that, the work that was done wasn't exactly what I wanted. Affordable came out for a quote, I was supposed to have the day off from work, however I got called in last minute and had a family member come over to be home for the quote. I wrote down what to ask and tell what I wanted to be done. It also helped that this family member had been helping me on this project and knew what I wanted.

Shortly after the quote I called Affordable to tell them I wanted to set up a date. My first call was on Friday April 20th, as I was talking to the young lady that was doing the scheduling I realized a couple things with the quote, so I asked her about these and to make the changes. I then asked her if one of their plumbers wanted to come out again and clarify what I wanted, she said everything was good. I then told her I would call back Monday April 23rd to confirm the appointment to make sure someone could be home.

I called back on April 23rd and set the appointment for May 7th and 8th. I once again asked if they wanted to have someone come out again to double check and be sure what I wanted. This time she said she would have the estimator call me.

On Tuesday April 24th their estimator called, we talked for a few minutes and I once again said that someone should come out and confirm what that they knew what I wanted. He assured me everything was fine, so I started asking questions and told him there was a drop tub being put in. He said he had quoted me for a wall unit, at this point I again asked him to come back out and go over the project with me to make sure I was getting what I wanted. He said it everything would be fine.

Fast forward a couple weeks and the plumbers are finishing up the work, the first problem I had was the fact that they asked my wife to sign off on the work without me looking at it first. She even called me to find out where I was and I told them I would be home in 30 minutes. Second, this is not what I wanted. The put PEX pipe in instead of copper like I had asked for in the 1st call, then to find out the quote didn't include the setting of the fixtures like I wanted. After the did the plumbing I wanted them to come back and tie in all the fixtures.

After I got home I went through and was obviously upset, I called Affordable and talked to the estimator. He argued with me for 20 minutes, telling me it was my fault for not looking over the quote and then blaming my family member for not clearly expressing what I wanted. I have huge problem with this, first I did look over the quote and called to have the changes made, they were forgotten about or ignored. Second they are placing the blame on someone else, but this all would have been fixed had they come out like I had asked on 4 different occasions over 3 phone calls.

I will not be doing business with them again, and I will be needing this type of service in the future, I have a 15 year old hot water tank and I would like to go tankless. I also have an upstairs bathroom that I would like to redo and go from 1 sink to a double sink.

Problem fixed in a matter of minutes and no hard up-selling to replace. It was a little bit pricier than expected but for the service, I don't mind. Knowing as much as I know about garbage disposals, they could have sold me anything, but they didn't. I was very satisfied!

After A-fordable Plumbing tried to sell us two new water heaters for $5,000, we called another company. Our AO Smith water heaters are less than seven years old and they were not even leaking! A & F Hot Water Specialists came out and repaired the problem the next day for a few hundred dollars. A-fordable Plumbing should be A-shamed of themselves!

I called in the morning to make arrangements for a new gas water heater install and was very politely and courteously scheduled that very day at my convenience. Delmar came to install the new water heater. He was courteous, and professional the entire time. Afordable Plumbing was recommended to me by neighbors and I will definitely recommend them to others too.

Called A-Fordable after reading previous reviews. Kathy was pleasant and professional as was the Will who called shortly after. He showed up quickly and fixed my toilet drain. I would call them again and refer themto others Price was the same as quoted.

Communication via Yelp not helpful. Did not call as requested. Just emailed a day later to ask if we were on city water or well, I answered, then radio silence. I had to call them myself, and then found out they only service one brand of hot water heater. I called someone else.

Over the Christmas holiday we found a water leak at my mom's house. We contacted A-fordable Plumbing & they contacted us right away. They were able to come right out. Jason called us when he was 20 minutes away to give us a head's up. He was very respectful of the house & was very friendly. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue & fixed it in a very short period of time. My mom felt very comfortable with his service & will definitely use him in the future. Thanks much!!
