My pilot light went out on my water heater for good and i was thrilled to learn the gas company wouldn't touch it as the venting in the closet was not to code. Not having hot water for over a month, added to imminent sale/loss of the home, had this homeowner on the brink of losing my freaking mind, but along came Rob who saved the day. He deftly recommended a cost-efficient way to replace the heater and bypass the venting that did not set me back half as badly as i was expecting. And - he was a professional and a gentleman throughout the entire process, taking my near meltdown in stride, with kindness.

i cannot recommend Rob and A Few Good Plumbers enough.

I manage a restaurant in Azusa while I live in Seattle. Thanks to yelpers, I found Tony's company. It's an emergency issue and Tony was able to go fix the problem that my restaurant has within a couple of hours on the same day (on Father's day!!). His fee was relatively fair and at first I was very afraid that it would be at a high price. Tony and his company will be my go-to plumbing company that I will use from now on.

We had a minor plumbing emergency with our kitchen sink today and had no idea who to call. I remembered driving past Tony's truck each time we enter and exit the freeway, and after reading the reviews on Yelp decided to call him. Luckily he was in the area just around the corner. He came over, was extremely polite and accomodating, and was done with the work in about 15 minutes.

I cant tell you how much of a load off of my mind this was, I have come to find that I really have absolutely no plumbing skills outside of turning a facuet off and on. Thankfully there are talented, polite, and VERY FAIR plumbers in the area that you can turn to.
I know how much we all regret calling a plumber because of the unknown costs, but let me tell you this: Tony is extremely fair and should be the first one on your list when something needs to be done.
I'll be passing his cards out to all of my neighbors and hopefully soon he wont be too busy to take my call again!

While staying with my parents for a few weeks, the kitchen sink and washing machine backed up. I dug around for a few reviews (found this company on yelp) and here's the story:

I called Tony this morning a little after 9, said I needed a drain snaked, discussed pricing, and I asked when he could be here... Said he would call in 2 hours, instead of calling he was here in a bit over an hour and a half.

Ended up snaking two drains, and patiently listened to my mom while she asked 1000 plumbing related questions.

He's a small company, fully licensed, bonded and insured Lic #959879 unlike the big ""rooter service"" where you have no idea if these people are licensed or insured.

I would without hesitation recommend AFGP if you need to have a service call for your elderly parents, or anyone who isn't savvy when it comes to dealing with service people. Tony is an up-front, professional guy. He was done quick, did two drains, and charged less than those smell good plumbers charge for one.

When i had my plumbing issue, I asked around but noone had a good plumber they could recommend. So I found Tony on yelp. I called Tony about leaks from my upstairs bathrooms. He took his time to explain the tests he was doing to determine the problem. He had to knock a hole in the ceiling downstairs to troubleshoot because the pipes could not be easily reached upstairs without ripping out the tub wall. He took his time and gave some recommendations but could not finish the job because a part needed to be ordered for the older plumbing. We took the ""cheaper"" route to see if that would fix the issue because the expensive route would require ripping out a tub.
When he came to do the actual work after he got the parts, he informed me that he had revised his plan because he did his homework and analyzed the problem again at home, based on our discussions. The route he chose avoided replacing the more costly valve replacement, and the have leaks stopped.
He charged a fair price, and seemed genuinely concerned about getting to the root of the problem without trying to upsell anything, and he got the job done quickly. He was clean and courteous and explained everything he was going to do. I've been gouged by another plumber before and had been dreading the next time I have plumbing issues. But now I have the goto person for my plumbing needs.

Tony is an honest reliable guy! He serviced our home and fixed a ""mickey mouse"" job that the previous plumber had done.

He gave us a great price for a true quality service which is guaranteed. He was able to detect the problems we had right away and fixed our problem for good. Now we have piece of mind and we know who to call for future emergencies that arise.

In a nut shell the name says it all ""A few good plumbers"" I took the time to write this review because I have am so tired of getting ripped off by a bunch of unprofessional guys who claim to give great service and just leave everything worst.

I called Tony at noon and he said he was busy working on some pipes and would be over in a couple of hours. sweet same day service! he came shortly after one hour.

As a first time home renter i was kinda nervous at how the whole plumber process worked. Tony was actually a pleasure to work with and had genuine care for the good ""health"" of my plumbing system. I had a clogged sink and jammed garbage disposal. He fixed them pretty quick and warned me of all the other problems with my plumbing system that i needed to let my land lord know about. The price wasnt cheap or overly expensive but its like giving a waiter a good tip for great service, sometimes you want them to enjoy the benefits from their labor. Was happy to pay him his price.

Lastly, hes honest, kind, loyal, and was a pleasure to have. quick service and easy transactions. Thanks tony!
