The response that the owner responded to my review was a total lie!!!! I was not upset that I couldn't get the drain in. He gave no suggestions, all he SD was, if you can't get it in, what makes you think I can? I was shocked by his rude response. At that point, I just called somebody else who fixed it no problem. You can see all the reviews that say he is rude. Then, he turns it around and lies about the customer to make it sound like his rudeness was justified. He is an old, crabby, rude,liar with no customer service. He needs some training how to speak to people. Him saying, that I didn't want to listen to anything was a lie. He didn't TELL ME ANYTHING, other than "" if you can't fix it, what makes you think I can?"" That was his only response. So quit lying you rude ass old man!

Our hot water heater bit the dust after 18 years and was leaking badly. We had contacted another local plumbing service in the Belleville area for a replacement and was told that it would be a month before they could be of service (really?). So we contacted Al at A. Davinroy Plumbing. Al is a great guy and came to replace the old hot water heater within 2 hours from the phone call. Same day service! Al and his team did excellent work installing top of the line hot water heater and the cost was very reasonable too. Highly recommended! David D. Belleville IL

Davinroy failed to fix the problem, alleged emergency repair at 2 pm on a Friday, spent 15 minutes here, could not diagnose the problem and wanted between $170 and $190 as an emergency repair - he made up different amounts as we discussed his request. I gave him $80 for doing nothing. Worthless is too high praise for this guy. I just read on his card ""All Plumbing Problems Solved"". It made me laugh...they may be, but not by this guy. I reviewed his other poor reviews...this guy has a track record. Avoid him. He didn't even bring a toolbox inside with him. I have never written a review on anyone, but this guy was simply horrible...

Mr. Davinroy was hired to buy/install a new garbage disposal right before Christmas (paid over $600) in our SFH. After he was done our dishwasher would not drain, and upon hiring a new service person, we were informed Mr. Davinroy failed to remove the standard knock-out plug (which closes off the dishwasher connection) before connecting the dishwasher line to the new disposal. The service person who corrected his blunder stated any professional plumber should know all garbage disposals come with a knock-out plug which needs to be removed before the line is then connected. Beyond a substandard job, Mr. Davinroy failed to: (a) apologize for his blunder; and (b) was unaccountable, stating new disposals do not normally have knock-out plugs to remove (which is flatly false). We had to pay the additional monies for the correction of his work by the 2nd service person (which he won't reimburse). Based on this experience we cannot recommend Mr. Davinroy's services.
