Sump pump was sounding weird last night and died an untimely death overnight. I had reached out to several plumbers who advertised that they were open Sundays. Only 1 reached out to say they weren't available.
Reading so many wonderful reviews about Curtis last night, I placed a call of desperation to him this morning.
He is a true gentleman and businessman! While he does not replace sump pumps, he referred me to someone that came literally within minutes and did the job on a Sunday morning. Curtis even called to check that they were able to get it done for us today because he had another plumber who could.
It is a rare thing to have someone extend themselves to help others these days!!
You better believe we are hiring Curtis to clean our drain lines soon!

Curtis is a godsend. I called with a clogged up toilet and he came really quickly within two hours. He had all the right equipment with him so there's none of the crazy running around like one of the other plumbers did. I'm grateful for his honesty because I asked if there's more things needed and he just told me that everything is clean and that I don't need to spend money until necessary. I'm grateful for his help tonight.

Curtis runs a business with integrity. He and his son, Zachary are professionals of their craft. Before he came out to provide an estimate, Curtis gave me several possible scenarios as to why I was experiencing the issue. He then also explained that I can try a methods with him over the phone and he would walk me through it to see if my issue will be resolved or he could still come out and provide a free estimate. I opted for him to come out to provide free estimate and he did. He was prompt and courteous. He narrowed my problem to two possible issues and explained that his resolution may not solve the problem therefore I have the option to try another course of action.
I appreciate his honesty as a business man and a professional person of his craft. He even provided additional services that was not originally a part of my problem. His prices are also very affordable. I highly recommend this business for their professionalism, promptness, courtesy, affordability and most importantly; honesty. Thank you.

I called Curtis in the morning about my backed up sewer line. He told me he could fit me in an 1 hr. He actually came earlier then that. He and his helper were very professional and got the job done quickly and to my satisfaction. I highly recommend him for sewer line cleaning.

We recently purchased an old 2-family home, and there were quite a few surprises, including plumbing issues. Curtis was very helpful, professional, and reasonably priced. He was able to unclog the kitchen sink in the rental unit and diagnose a couple other things (e.g., broken radiator) for us to follow up on. Overall, a very positive experience and would absolutely hire him again when needed.

Looking for a plumber can be very daunting. I googled and yelped 3 different plumbers since buying my home in 2013.

We recently experienced a clog in our kitchen sink. I called maybe 5-6 different plumbers, all found on Yelp and Curtis was the first and only person that could come out to evaluate it and attempt to fix it on the weekend of New Year's Eve (Average outside temp of 8-14 degrees F)

Curtis made every attempt to repair the issue, spending roughly 3-5 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately, due to my home's plumbing design and age, Curtis could not repair it and referred another plumber to complete the job.

He did not bill me until the other plumber was able to unclog it and even went to say ""I want you to be satisfied first and everything working before charging you.""

Curtis is definitely a plumber I will be using in the future and I will be recommending him to family and friends. To find an honest plumber is not an easy task and I won't be letting go.

Curtis was AWESOME! He's a straight-shooter. Got the job done. Pricing was very fair. I'm big on preventive maintenance and good habits. Will definitely have him check the lines once a year. Thanks again, Curtis.

My husband - on a Sunday evening - tried to unblock a clogged drain under the kitchen sink by dashing off to Home Depot and bought a chemical gel and when this didn't work, a power spin snake. This didn't work either, so I opened up the Yelp App and phoned ""A' Budget"" the following morning. I left a voicemail message, thinking that I wouldn't get a reply until at least a couple of hours later, but Curtis called back within 5 minutes and was on my doorstep 20 minutes later - on a Monday morning! :) Curtis was very polite and courteous and when he ascertained what needed doing, told me how much the job would cost before starting work. Curtis (a retired fireman) cleared the blocked drain and was finished by 9.25am, so I was delighted! I even asked for some of his business cards to pass on to friends. I have no idea how much the price charged compares with other plumbers as I didn't call anyone else, but it seemed a fair price AFAIK. I hope I don't get any more clogged drains, but if I do I will definitely call Curtis to do the job. Highly recommended:)

Curtis answered the phone, showed up when he said he would, took care of the problem, cleaned up after himself and even better, he was a really nice person.

All that and he charged me half of what the other guys do. ( i used one of those other guys in my home prior).

Couldn't give him a better recommendation. I hope you never need him but if you do, I hope he answers your call too.
