Unfortunately we had a very poor experience with this company. We contracted them to do a plumbing repair in our rental unit on September 2, 2020. I cannot speak about the quality of their work as I wasn't present in our rental when the job was performed but I do have a lot to say about how company's management handled the payment. First, we received an original quote around $8,500, however the invoice received on September 10, 2020 was for $10,800. On that day the job wasn't even close to being completed (about half way done) but we received a call from management saying that the crew will not perform any further work until the invoice is paid in full (strange business practice, have never experienced this with any other company before) When my husband said he needs some time to review the charges and perform due diligence to ensure everything looks reasonable - the owner started raising his voice and demand payment, he also said that he would put a lien on our property for a failure to pay (reminder - the job wasn't even complete yet) We received endless calls throughout the following day with demands to pay upfront. Long story short, we ended up terminating their services half-way through and hiring another company to complete the project.

Also, to give a price comparison - Home Depot charges $60 per day to rent a large humidifier, while Brian and Sons charged us $195 per day.

Another strange thing is the contractor's license reflected on their website #877797 is under suspension if you look it up on State License Board, but if you look up by their business name - a completely different license number comes up... incompetent management?

They removed all the bad reviews!!!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! It took me 2 months to write this review, I should have done it sooner. I was in desperate need of a plumbing repair in my home as We had other emergencies going on or I would have done myself. This company was the only one available to come out. They never came on time and sometimes at all, they charged for things they didn't do, they overcharged and the job was not done correctly AT ALL. When I confronted the owner Aaron, he yelled at me and was super rude! Iv renovation hundreds of homes in the past, what a scam this company! I am in the process of obtaining a lawyer and guess what Aaron, we have proof of it all. And yes they have a suspended license! Their website has the license number 877797 and you look up under California contractor license. I have uploaded the result of the license lookup.

Brian and Sons is one of those rarities in today's world where everyone is out to make a buck. Not so with this company. Absolutely Unbelievable Service! I was told I needed to move my gas line in order to install my new large chefs range. I Looked for a knowledgable plumber with experience in gas lines and found Brian and Sons. Here's where the story becomes truly amazing. Roman came out and carefully assessed my gas line situation and then Inspected the new range waiting to be installed. He then told me that it was fine as is and all I needed was to clean up the area around the gas line and it would work perfectly. He said it was actually situated in the perfect spot for the new range so no plumbing work was needed. I was astonished at his honesty and even asked him about another small issue I had with a hot water regulator for my master bedroom shower. He looked at it, moved a dial and presto! I now had instant hot water in my shower instead of having to wait 4 minutes for cold water to get warm. No charge for that either. I am amazed and so appreciative of the integrity and professionalism of Roman and Brian and Sons Plumbing. He is my hero and definitely my go to Plumber in the future.

Amazing job! (My Review is LONG over due)
Late last year we had Roman come out & install a toilet, shower faucet & head, also switched out all our shut off valves under the sinks & behind toilets.
He's a great worker, knowledgeable & friendly.
We also called him out because we thought we had a slab leak, he kept checking in on us to see if the pressure moved at all etc. We ended up not having a leak (thank god)
But you guys are our go tow plumbers & we tell everyone about you. Great business & crew

If a contractor asks for money up front for anything other than something that is special ordered. RUN away. Even if it is in their right to do so nearly all contractors never ask for money upfront. These guys did this to my elderly parents and we had to fight to get back half of a $1000 deposit.

After reading some reviews I was a little uncertain. But after making a few attempt to get a plumber out after dinner and failing to either reach other companies or being told they would let me know if they could make it, I decided to go with Brian and Sons. I'm so glad It worked out this way. The tech ""Roman"" arrived in reasonable time. When he arrived we were politely greeted by the fellow. Super happy guy. You could tell he liked dealing with this kind of $#!t, literally. It was like he could see through walls and knew just what to do. He was Confident in his work, which put us at ease. Expecting something from what others had to say, I will tell you that I had nothing but a great experience. Definitely not a gouging price. You do have to understand, no one is going to make a living charging $5 for a house call in any business when it cost you more in just tire wear. I'm a mechanic and when I hear things like ""he did it in 5 min it was so easy""and they get upset because they have to pay...... it looked so easy because they know what they are doing. Thank you Roman. Super friendly guy, even my neighbors liked him and now I see his van making service calls for them.

I received plumbing services from Brian and sons and just want to say that their plumber Roman did an exceptional job. He was detailed and knowledgeable, efficient and professional. Roman was punctual and completed the job in a timely matter. I was very pleased with his services and would HIGHLY recommend him.

If I could give this company a 0 star I would.
They bought supplies on credit and did not pay for them, even though their contract says ""supplies included."" Suppliers are now going after me, for a number of items that were not even used on my job. Their is now a lien on my house.
The work was not high quality, and I had to have other plumbers come in and assess the work because I was concerned. Their own plumber said the job was a mess.
The company constantly badgers you for money even though milestones were not achieved. They try to upsell you on every small change.
I have remodeled a number of houses and have never had a contractor with such little integrity. All I can hope is that I can keep others from being in this position.
