Paid A-Better Plumbing $25k to renovate my bathroom in my 100 year old house. Project started in March 2017 and was completed in April 2017. Sink drain plug they installed not completely sealing the sink and the drain was running slow so I called them back out in July 2017 (assuming their 1 year warranty would cover the service call). Wrong. They still charged $100 to re-install the drain plug and remove hair from the drain. I thought by being a customer who just spent $25k for a new bathroom, the service fee would have been waived. Nope. Not a chance.
Also, the workmanship around the installation of the vanity was poor... gap between wall and vanity is uneven. House is old and walls not plumb, but I expected the installation to be more visibly attractive. I assume craftsman with more experience working in old houses would have been able to address this issue.
Next, two HVAC vents were created in the bathroom but I had to provide (and install) the registers even though our contract did not indicate I had to provide these.
Finally, floor tile has a pattern that the tile installer did not see and installed part of the tile without replicating the pattern. I had to provide the extra tile so that the incorrectly installed tile could be removed (with many of the tiles being destroyed upon removal) and replaced. Not sure I would use A-Better Plumbing again.
