Having a Home Inspection business and being a prior General Contractor and Operating Engineer I am always asked for referrals. Well I have used Monte and Carla for jobs and all my client referrals for years but had never needed them for myself until today. I was changing a shower cartridge before going on an inspection this morning and the cartridge snapped in half! Having to leave to make my appointment on time I had no water and a house of angry teens. So for the first time in my life I had to call a plumber!
Well who do I call and trust in my home with my family! Monte! First time in my life calling a plumber and walking into my home at the end of the day with a shower valve that worked better then when it was installed!
These are the only plumbers I trust in town for new construction,renovation,repair,and sewer inspection. Don't hesitate and call Carla and Monte at A Better plumbing you won't regret it!

When I had a problem and needed a plumber, I looked at the good reviews and called this company. I left a message on the voicemail on Saturday at 4:30 pm. I left an email Sunday at 11:00 am. It is now almost 10:00 am on Monday, and I have not received a return phone call or email. I can wait no longer. I will call a different company. Their message on the answering machine indicated that I should text for faster service. NOT EVERYONE TEXTS!!!

Prompt, professional, and pleasant, I highly recommend their expertise and service. They are always quick to respond to a plumbing emergency (I've had two!) and are diligent in offering several repair options at varying cost levels, which I have greatly appreciated. My water bill had jumped $150, even though I had reduced watering times. I concluded I had a leak, and started looking online for leak detection companies. This company had a live person answering the phone. They gave me a leak inspection appointment for the next morning (I called very late in the afternoon), with only a half hour waiting window.

Juan came out and found my leak within minutes. He ten explained my options. I opted to have the main water line (street to house) replaced, rather than patched. This cost me $1,995, and they finished the work that day. You have to make your own decision as to whether you want a leak patched , or the whole line replaced. I went with replacement. They did an excellent job, and they did it fast.

My grandparents receive the solar panels on there home and better Plumbing had to do something with the solar panels and the water heater today they're getting there with roof redone we had a young man from better Plumbing come down here and trying to charge them $1,900 to move the solar panels and drain the water heater he told me to his mouth that they don't do charity work so if you want me to leave I'll just leave that's the worst customer service ever I would never use better plumber you have cold hearted owners...

Wow so my friend referred this company to me when my house flooded. They had a plumber out the next day for us. Unfortunately the problem was worse than we expected. The gentleman Mike had to come out a total of five times to fix all the problems this task turned out to be. Every time he showed up he had a wonderful attitude and demeanor. He is extremely knowledgeable and explained every step of the way what he was doing and what our options were. Obviously with Christmas around the corner and a small child in the house the situation has been stressful and upsetting. But Mike helped ease the blow with his smile and proactive approach to the situation. He was sweet to my son and never tried to take advantage of us. He was very hard working and always honest and up front. In a world today where customer service is greatly lacking, this company and Mike were a breath of fresh air. I appreciate the integrity of this company and their staff. I will definitely recommend this company to everyone I know.

When I first bought my house (former foreclosure), I had major leak issues everywhere. A Better Plumbing Co came out and fixed everything...So when I wanted more work done, naturally I contacted them.

Using their website, the first email had no response. The second email got a response, A two line response, that said their free estimate costs $75 and I can email pictures. Really? I gave a pretty specific list of things that needed doing. This wasn't a ""Help, I have a leak!"" or ""My water heater broke""...Although the people who have those issues seem to love them (as I did).

Maybe they don't want other types of jobs. I don't know. But they went from a 5 star to a 2 star in my book. Sad, it's so hard to find a good plumber.

It's been about a year since Mike Wright came to our house on an emergency call for a replacement water heater and things couldn't be better. No drips, no leaks, and the heater is still going strong. This guy was good, and fast!

Called first thing in the AM and the office was great...customer service rep was very friendly and reassuring. Shawn was our plumber and he came out promptly the same day in the afternoon. I even received text updates as to his arrival and assessment for the hot water heater repairs needed. Shawn was very kind to my wife and also very professional in his conduct and work. Great company and fair price. I've used them before and I will definitely use them again...highly recommended!
