Tried contacting them many times and when they would respond, it was too try to get things scheduled soon (so they said) but when I'd provide available dates and times, I'd never hear back.

The technician who did come out often seemed uncertain as to how to proceed with the simple projects (like replacing a faucet).

Contacted them through Yelp and were responsive and had good availability. Gave me a window of time and technician showed up during the window. Fixed the clogged drain and has worked fine since.

After requesting a quote on Yelp, Jeff called me right away to talk through what kind of company they are, the work they do and it all sounded great. AND IT WAS.

They were able to schedule me just a few days after our first chat. I got a new water heater installed and had roots cleaned from my sewer line. Shawn was the plumber who came out. He was so nice and knowledgable and a complete delight to talk to. He got the work all done in just a couple hours with complete professionalism.

The pricing was the best I found in the Denver area to get both jobs done and the water heater they installed is top of the line.

We had a great experience, called them to fix a break in the waterline to our evaporative cooler. Beau Crawled around in our attic on a 90° day and even went up on our roof to make sure everything is functioning perfectly before he left. We are tight on time and our budget with the new baby in the house. Jeff the owner worked over messages on Yelp to get us scheduled, it was so easy and painless. We would definitely call them again for future maintenance. Great service.

Our hot water heater burst and we called around to find a company that could replace it in both a timely and affordable fashion. A better sewer beat out the ""usual suspect, high dollar companies"" on both fronts. In fact they're cost was about half of what we were quoted elsewhere and they had the work done same day. Highly recommend these guys!

I asked for bids online for a garbage disposal replacement, they responded almost immediately. Reviews looked good so I choose them.
Technician was knowledgeable and did a good job and left a clean space. My complaint is the communication and price. This is what I received:
""Sorry to hear you have plumbing issues, but we can help! It's $49.95 for a technician to come out and we will waive the $49.95 with any repair. We have 570 online 5 star reviews, and we are about half the price of the corporate big boys. Can we call to discuss""

Buyer beware, the cost was $300+ an hour (not half of the big boys) with a standard replacement cost of $525.99. I did get a $50 discount, but in the end paid $475.99. If they had been honest and told me their standard replacement cost was $525 I would have shopped around. They sent a technician but charged me for a journeyman plumber, I did accept the fees because I'm tired of repairing items and just wanted it done. If you use this company get a cost estimate before they come out and beware they charge over $300/hour regardless if it is a journeyman or a technician.

Have to write a review after my experience today. I requested a quote for a toilet repair project earlier in the week. They came in reasonably priced and the communication with Jeff, the owner, was great. We were able to fix the original issue on our own but ran into a problem when installing our new sink. I contacted Jeff again to see if they had anyone available and o come out the next day. They had appointments available and again the communication with his was great. I even got text messages to confirm my appointment time, who my technician would be and when he was on his way to the house!

Shawn came out to complete the repairs today and he was awesome! Incredibly kind and friendly. He called an hour before my scheduled time because he was able to complete his previous job early. He told me he could come by early or stick with our scheduled time, depending on what worked for me.

The work was completed in a quick manner and done thoroughly. We are very pleased with the company, communication, and the work Shawn has done! Thank you!

Scheduling and having the inspector come on time was no issue! Had to call to receive my report and never received a video as promised, and for some reason was sent a conflicting report days later after initial report mentioning an issue that was never stated at time of inspection or on first report. Called, emailed several times to get answers on what report is actually accurate and could not get hold of anyone. Frustrating when you are using this for a new home purchase and there are deadlines involved. Now I have to a call another company to reinspect.

Update: Since my review, the business owner did reach out. I appreciate him reaching out to see what could be done. Does seem to care about his business and how it is run. He has issued a refund since we last spoke.

So disappointing. I had an appointment at 4:00 and they showed up at 4:55. Apparently they have an hour window which I was not told. If I had known that I would not have scheduled it at 4pm. Onto the next company

Amazing, professional service!

I hadn't needed plumbing service since living in Denver so I wasn't sure where to turn. I'm so glad I ended up going with A Better Sewer Inspection because they were super quick to respond, had a professional out as soon as possible, and fixed all my issues within two trips. They have a very affordable call fee that they waive if you have to have any kind of work done and the work itself is highly affordable. Beau and Shawn did amazing, quick work and were both friendly and professional. I cannot recommend this company enough and will be using them for all future plumbing needs!
