We've been using A Better Deal for a few years now. They replaced my A/C and Heating system with one recommended by Andrew. They helped us get a home improvement loan with a good interest rate to pay for it, and the savings in our electric bill more than offsets the payment amounts. We're actually saving money by taking out a loan.
They always respond as quickly as possible, and do top notch work. Our hot water heater quit working yesterday afternoon. Andrew came out today to take a look at it and was able to reset something that we would not have known about and had it working in a few minutes. Further, he says if it keeps happening they can do a rebuild on the W/H and quoted a very reasonable cost. I believe this to be the best A/C Heating, appliances, etc. company in the entire Dallas Fort Worth area. Please give them your business with confidence.

During historic freezing temperatures and frequent power outages our heater quit working. We called A Better Deal because we had seen so many people locally post very favorable comments about this company. Andrew responded at 11:00PM to get out heater working again and came back the next day to follow up. He was never annoyed or in a hurry and he took several emergency calls while at our home. As I listened to him handle these upset callers who were panicked I thought how professional he treated each person and how calm he was. I will definitely call Andrew again when we have HVAC issues!

Just bought a house and Snow is sch tonight here in Texas and our furnace stopped!! They showed up fixed it and I have never used a company with more integrity and just amazing customer service !!!

I really love this HVAC company. I never needed to search for another in the 5 years that I owned my previous home.
Their techs know what they are doing and if you maintenance your system properly - you will never, ever have problems. Andrew and his team have gone above and beyond each time I needed their help. Even when I was closing on the home - they stood by our side ready and willing to help with the sale.
The HVAC system (Trane) was 18 years old at the time of the sale and I never had a single issue. We did maintenance regularly, on time, and replaced the filter on time as well. Andrew helped educate me about the system as well when I first moved in.
This company offers a truly one of a kind experience. I plan on using them with our new home as well in the future assuming they still service our area.

I would give zero stars if I could. First the company calls my office number when I clearly asked them to call my cell phone number to tell me that they couldn't service my unit today because it was too cold to check Freon well my unit is part of a chiller system in a condo in a high-rise so it there's no Freon to check. Because they called my office instead of my cell phone as requested I didn't get the message until I had already driven 60 miles and waited two hours for the appointment. I would have been totally unaware had I not called to follow up. The man I spoke with blamed everyone on earth for the problems and eventually after a second call a half hour later he tells me he's sending "Andrew" to do the work. So, Andrew shows up says he can't do a service because they don't carry 1" air filters and basically leaves less than 3 min after arriving. Seriously the worst experience I've ever had with a services vendor. Poor communication and appalling customer service.

Andrew came out to check an a/c issue. He was prompt, polite, COVID distancing and QUICKly determined the problem. I will RECOMMEND A Better Deal to friends and neighbors. Thanks Andrew!!!

Our upstairs A/C was blowing hot air, so I found an AC contractor through one of the popular online service-matching portals. The company was prompt to send a technician to assess the problem. After an hour of diagnosis, the technician informed me that the compressor for the unit has burned out and I need to replace it. The company said they can offer me a great deal to replace the whole condenser unit with a brand new one. I was not convinced by the assessment and wanted to get a second opinion. One of my friends (and neighbor) recommended "A Better Deal" and I called them up for help. Andrew visited at the scheduled time and found that the refrigerant was low and there was a blockage in the tube resulting in the air not getting cooled. He replaced the refrigerant dryer/filter and the problem was fixed. He charged me a reasonable fee for the refrigerant and the repair that was a fraction of the price quoted by the previous company. I am very satisfied by the excellent diagnosis and service provided by Andrew, as honesty is the key in doing business and building client relationship. Glad I found "A Better Deal".

It seems like every summer I have some AC drama. Every. Summer. So of course this summer was no different. My AC was freezing and not keeping up so I called a company I've used before and they came out, replaced a capacitor, added a bunch of coolant and charged me an exorbitant amount of money. Less than two months later my AC started acting up again so I decided I would not use the same company because I've lost trust in them. One of my Facebook mom groups had recommended A Better Deal, along with some other honest local businesses. I made my decision and called for an appointment and they came out the same day! I was able to get the 7-9pm window which was fine with me. I'd read some previous reviews that said they failed to show up so I was a little nervous but a little after 8pm Andrew called and said he was on the way. In these Covid times, safety is of utmost importance. He arrived wearing gloves and a mask. Very much appreciated since I haven't been having anyone in my house other than the ones that live in it. He found a possible issue that I guess I've had since I bought the house 4 years ago. A simple little fix that has been over looked by every other company. More coolant had to be added and I was sure I had a leak somewhere but hoping not. The cost was 1/4 of what I had paid the other company to add coolant. A day later the AC was short cycling but still cooling. I called ABD again and told them what was happening and Andrew came out around almost 10pm and let me know he may have over filled the coolant due to some ice still being present when he filled it the first time so that's why it was short cycling. He fixed the issue, told me I should be good for the season and off he went. I've been good ever since and sure hope there isn't really a leak and that the minor fix was the real issue. I realized after reading other reviews that Andrew is the owner of the company and he works hard like a regular employee just getting it done. Very professional, extremely knowledgeable and now this company has earned my trust. From the nice lady who answers the phone to getting same day appointments because they are open 7 days a week, I'm grateful and impressed.

I went through the ringer and got attacked by a tech at Air Technical today, a company sent by my warranty company.
So naturally after that attack, I was super nervous about bringing anyone else out.
I fired the warranty company, and...
The tech from A Better Deal came out the same day. He was extremely nice and professional. Got my AC fixed in literally no time. It's so refreshing to have someone walk into your home and treat you kindly and respectfully. We will be bringing our business to them from now on.

I would highly recommend A Better Deal in Keller Texas. Andrew is the Best. We were conned by a previous Air Condition Company we used and Andrew came out at night and got us up and running. A Better Deal is Honest and has Integrity and in today's World, Integrity in Business can be hard to find. A Better Deal is the only Company I will now use for all my Heating and Air Needs. They care about their Costumers and are Honest. The prior company I gave my Business to lied to us about the Warranty and would not stand behind their product. Andrew came to Our Rescue and picked up and fixed were the other Company stuck us. He did not have to do that. God Bless Them. A Better Deal is Truly the Best.
