Owner Jim Van Tassel established his company, A Better Bath and Kitchen during the fall of 1993 under the name Roscommens Contracting. From that point forward, he has been addressing the needs of homeowners related to renovation and repair, as well as custom furniture creation and serving a CREIA Home Inspector. During May 2011, the company name changed to A Better Bath and Kitchen, with an emphasis on bath and kitchen remodeling, along with a customer-friendly showroom for customer selection needs. Additionally, we also handle home repair solutions.

Michele N.A Better Bath and Kitchen did a wonderful job for us. I had them put in Pergo and tile floors, as well as replace siding on the outside of my two-story house. All was done timely and as quoted. My stairs had to be custom cut do their shape and they turned out beautiful. I further referred them to my mother-in-law and sister-in-law who both had their bathrooms remodeled and all love them! I would definitely recommend them if you want it done right!
