As a third-generation family business, we take pride in our roots.

Located in Norfolk, VA, we offer Plumbing, Heating, Electrical, and AC services to the greater Tidewater area. We specialize in providing service and repairs for homes and businesses alike. We handle the repair and replacement of all varieties of water heaters and boilers. We are equipped to repair, replace, and install heat pumps and air conditioning systems. Our team includes state-certified backflow inspectors who handle installation, repairs, and replacements. Our expertise extends to troubleshooting electrical problems and performing full service changes, upgrades, and circuit installations. We also offer lighting solutions, including bucket truck services. Our team is experienced in repairing and replacing parking lot pole lighting and implementing energy-efficient upgrades. Our services include the repair and installation of gas lines. Our sewer services include cleaning, snaking, repairs, and replacements, along with video inspections and water jetting.

In 1952, Alton Bryant Parker and his son Thomas Arthur Parker established A.B. Parker & Son. We have been operating from the same Norfolk location since our inception and continue to serve many of our original customers.

In the early 80s, Thomas Parker took over the business, and his son Mark Thomas Parker has been at the helm since 2001. Over the years, we have employed many dedicated individuals and maintain the same pride in our work as when we first started.

I was born in 1974 in Norfolk, VA, graduated from Norfolk Christian High School, and hold an associate degree from Tidewater Community College. I am involved in the Brentwood Baptist Church community. I am happily married and a proud father of three wonderful children.
