Van Tran has been our plumber for 24 years at several places. He is always reliable and punctual. They do a very effective service and the prices always seem reasonable. We just had him repair our kitchen drain system for example. Even though it was evening they offered to come within the next 2 hours but we told them it could wait until morning. Sure enough they were there promptly the next morning.

1 star because answering service did not work. Yikes!

That said, once reached, Van was great on the phone. We coordinated an emergency visit. Tim was a wonder working on my problem --- connect from meter to house cracked and leaking.

It all went great and for a price that beat earlier estimates. I will call them again .

Wish there was less then one star -Van(is the owner I think ) calls promptly but is extremely rude . does he realize he is talking to customers ? all I asked was the cost for the job and he yelled at us over the phone !! please avoid

Absolutely horrendous . The despath guy yelled at me on the phone.... literally yelled at me because i asked why how much he will take since he demanded x amount without even coming to the see the problem. Never will recommend him .

A.B.E. is the plumber to consider. I had a problem with my kitchen faucet and Tim came over to check and replace the problematic braided hose where the leak was coming from. Tim was so professional and did the job in no time.
In the same token, the owner, Van Tran was so good in following up how the work went. That's the ""after Sales service"" that should be extended to every customer. More power A.B.E!

Saw some good review about Van. Called at dinner for tomorrow Service. Left message with answering service. Van called me around 9m Said he can see me at 1-2 pm the next day. Told him I only needed to change the leaky shut off valve and supply line to the toilet tank. Possibly 1/2 hour at the most but understand may be an one hour minimum charge. Van said he does not charge by time but by the job. He wanted $170 which is normally a $80-100 job. Van had attitude and told me to look for someone else.

My kitchen and laundry room drains plugged up late on Thanksgiving Day. My hubby called Van early the next day, and he was at my house working the problem within 30 minutes. The problem turned out to be a long-building clog in the sewer line under our house. It did take some time to remove the clog, but he did it and at a very reasonable cost.

We've also used Van in the past for less urgent problems, and he's always solved the problem in a reasonable time at a more than reasonable cost. Van is now our go-to guy for plumbing issues. Good man.

Van called me up Monday evening and said he would be here at about 9:00 am the next morning. He was here at 8:30. No problem. The sewer line in the driveway was backed up and he started right away. Cleaned the line (roots from bush) and had everything cleaned up and running great in a short time. Highly recommend. Thank you Van. Larry
