Al Loppie and his crew were hired 6 years ago to excavate the collapsed sewer main at my current residence. last December my basement flooded and I found out that the sewer main had snapped off at the city main. it cost me another $9000 to have it redone by a reputable contractor. we called the city inspector and he said Al never pulled permits for the original job yet he charged us $1,000 for them. it blows my mind how he can still operate within the city limits given his long history of unprofessional work. He is a nice guy but do not hire him to do any work for you.

I hired Al Loppie, and his crew of Branden and Levi in September 2022 for a major remodel of home which included a heating system, gas hook up for my gas stove, tub, shower and the installation of all sinks, faucets. He was to add glycol to the heating systems to avoid it from freezing because he did not return to the job to run the piping before Helena Insulation sprayed foam on 12/15/2022. These guys lie and make every excuse in the book to not preform the job that they were paid for. They have you pay for thinks that were suppose to be in the original bid and then say they were not included. Example, on June 1, 2023 I paid for an upgrade baseboard heater and he said that was expensive and would cost addition $3,800.00 which was another lie. When I called him on it he started increasing his delays and excuses.
Additionally, the service requested was never completed but the quality is lacking and cost me many dollars correcting his work. When I hired him, I had to except his bid because winter was coming and I needed the work done. So, I would say that the amount he charge me was at a high premium,
This company take advantage of the situation and I would caution anyone who hires them to not pay anything in advance. Get a respectable honest plumber.

We have had constant problems getting him out to do the job and e paid him from. We've been working with him close to 5 years but we've barely seen him in that time. It's been excuse after excuse. For the past two years he's had about one weeks worth of work that he can't seem to get to. The work that he has done is inefficient and gives us constant problems. We paid him to get fixtures and trimmings and apparently they got stolen he said he would reorder them two years ago still haven't seen them.
He's good for quick jobs but if you are renovating a home save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.
