Fawn P.On May 29, 2018, I made a call to AA Quick because of the alarm light on our septic and a terrible smell. We had used them just a couple months before to pump our septic, and they were referred to us by our neighbors, my in-laws. Since the pumping of the septic, the alarm has gone off and on and the smell had been constant for a couple weeks. I spoke to a woman on the phone who said she would send someone out that afternoon. The same woman called me later that day to tell me it was a ""Murphy's Law"" day and that someone would be out the next day. No one came the next day either, so when I woke up on Thursday, May 31st I called again. I spoke with the same woman who told me she left me a voicemail explaining that they were once again not able to come out because they were so busy. I was understanding and just assumed a voicemail was left on the wrong number since I didn't have one and even called my voicemail even though I had no notification. She told me someone would be out that afternoon. I told her we had plans and wouldn't be home, but she said she'd have the guy leave a note on my door detailing the issue. I gave her my debit card number and my email so that she could send me a receipt. On Friday morning, June 1st, I called again because I had no email and no receipt, and the smell was still bad. She told me the guy came on Thursday afternoon but that he had no tickets in order to leave behind a note. She said it was the same guy who pumped our septic and he remembered having to fix a slit in our aerator hose and that there was a second slit he fixed this time. She said if it happened again we'd need a new hose. She told me the smell would go away in a couple of days. My card was charged $175. Today is June 19th, and the smell has never gone away. I've called almost every single day since then, and I never get a return call. When I do get a hold of someone, she tells me she left me a voicemail. I've given my phone number every single time, and I have absolutely no voicemails from this company. She acts like she doesn't know who I am each time I call, so I have to re-explain my situation. She told me last week to save me some money to have my husband caulk the lids to the septic. I asked if it was customary for them to not caulk when they came out. She said only when they pump a septic, and I said, ""You did just pump it!"" So she told me she needed to check her records and she'd have Brenda call me. This was on June 13th. On June 14th, I sent the company an email detailing my experience, and Brenda called me within 5 minutes. She said she was giving me a ""freebie"" by sending a guy out to caulk the lids, but that they were not responsible for the smell. I don't see how it's a freebie when I paid $175 and the problem was never fixed. She told me the guy would come out on the 14th or 15th. I asked her to check the aerator hose and I would obviously pay for the replacement if it was needed so this didn't continue to happen. They have yet to come out and fix the issue, and I haven't heard from them. I have just now left a voicemail and requested a refund of my $175 so that I can call another company to resolve this issue.
